COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From tap @Crowbar, Oslo. Bright orangey golden body. Tall white head. Malt drops aroma with a note of perfumed fruits and mild spices. Sweet, medium full malt body. Suptle spice tones. Some yellow fruits and a dscreet grassy bitterness. OIly texture. Sweet caramel malty and fruity finish. [13.12.12]

On tap @ Amundsen, Oslo. My first beer from Flying Couch, fun to finally taste the produce of my Danish friend Jannick, who’s one of the brewers. :-) Pours a deep hazy orange body with a big creamy white head. Nose is sweet fruity mango tones, hints of strawberries and lime. Whoa, this is certainly something else! Taste continues with strawberry, mango, syrupy malt tones, herbs, citrus and hints of nougat again. Creamy mouthfeel. Strange, and far from what I’d say would be a tripel; more in the landscape of an experimental American IPA or something. Despite the odd profile, it is rather enjoyable but not really a winner IMHO.

Fra fat på Ølbaren i Elmegade: lett humlet, ikke en typisk belgisk tripel. God på smak og med en bæraktig maltkropp.

Chopp. Ølfestival i Allerød. Hazy nice deep golden with an off-white head. Sweet pleasantly malty yeasty fuity caramel aroma. Good mouthfeel. Sweet malty toasty yeasty caramel and fruity flavour, well balanced, very pleasant.
