Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co. Islington - London. Many thanks to Sr. Owen for this rotbox special. Pours unclear gold with a frothy, white head. Aged biscuits in the nose, some toasted sugars, light caramel. Medium sweet flavour with touches of toasted caramel, light earthy bitterness, bready malts. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Drying to finish, with light pine, earth, more caramel. Not bad overall.

July 2016 - Bottle share at Craft Beer Co Islington as ’Flying Couch Dress Down Friday’. Many thanks to Chriso for this rot box delight! Old school risque label. Dark orange, hazy, foamy tan head, full lacing. Aroma is well buttered toast, toffee-ish, caramelised sugars. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is light demerara, bready, light resinous with a soft finish. Doesn’t taste like a pilsener any more. Not sure how old this is, but I’m assuming it’s good for age! (2.8)

"Vintage" bottle at Craft Islington, thanks to Chris & Ruth. It pours hazy orange -amber with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, bread, must, stewed orange, peach, orange tango and Irn Bru. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, orange peel, bread, some alcohol, orange tango and toasted grain with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. All things considered this was a lot better than expected!

Bottled@CPH BF 2013 (thanks Rune). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, some grassy notes as well as bready, but quite sweet malts to it. Flavour is grassy, quite herbal, bready malts as well as some slight floral notes to it. Balanced, but nothing all too special. Good "session/afterwork lager".
