Black with beige head. Aroma of pine and roasted malt. Flavour with coffee and grapefruit.

On tap at Olympen. Pours black with a beige head. Good chocolate aroma, blending with citrus in the mouth. Dry roasted notes. A good black IPA, blacker than many other versions.

Draught at Copenhagen Ølfestival 2012. Black color. Aromas of coffee, nuts and warming alcohol. Bitter coffeish and lemony flavor with leather, warming alcohol and grapefruit. Very bitter yet smooth. Very nice black IPA, not too roasty neither too hoppy.

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Black with a large beige head. Smells like a nice IPA. Aroma of fruit (tropical), roasted malt, pine, peach and a hint of citrus, coffee and chocolate. Full body with a creamy feel. Sweet, fruity and malty with a nice hoppy and bitter finish. Very well balanced. Noticable alcohol, but well integrated. Hoppy and chocolaty aftertaste. Nice BIPA. Full body & high complexity.
Coffee aromas, liquerice , some hops.
Some immediate sweetness followed by bitterness.

Clear black with a brown head. Aroma heavy malty (hard roasted, licorice, dark chocolate) and hoppy. Flavor medium sweet, heavy bitter of hard roasted malts and hops, ends dry. Medium to full body.

Draft @ DØE BeerFest 2012. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a slightly roasted malty hoppy piney aroma. Roasted malty hoppy bitter licorice flavor with piney hints. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter piney finish.

On tap, 100ml, at Ølfestival 2012. Beige patchy head covering a devil-black body. Smell of earthy dark malts with notes of dusty hops. Roasted, semi-sweet malts in flavour mixed with dark fruits and anise. Lingering malt-bitter finish. Pleasing Black IPA (Copenhagen, 10.05.2012).
