Bottle 500ml.

Dark black colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, ash. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt bitter, cacao, sweet chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130112]

Fra fat på ølbaren: en vanvittig intens smak av kaffe og mørk lakris. Et velbalansert og kjempegodt øl på alle måter. Kvelden er begynt å bli lang...

Bottle 50cl from FoneFan thanks, a dark ale with low off white head. Nose is intense on roasted notes and dark chocolate. Aroma is on sweet dark chocolate, caramel and licorice, creamy body, light ashes, vanilla and toffee. A good one !

50cl bottle. Pitch black with a small brown head. I was afraid I’d tainted my tastebuds by eating liquorice half an hour earlier, because the first thing I thought when tasting this beer was "liquorice", but I’m happy to see that other people comment on that as well. There is also a taste of roasted coffee, hops and chocolate which stays a while. Overall a pleasantly smooth and delicious beer.

Bottle @ fonefan berliner weisse, cream ale multistate tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, coffee, bitter yet sweet chocolate, hops and caramel. Initially sweet but with a bitter finish.

Bottle @ FOneFan, 8.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, strong chocolate, little coffee, medium sweet and a little vanilla.

Bottle @ Berliner Weisse Takeover Ulfborg, 2013. Day 2. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Hard roasted nose with notes of liquorice , mild spice and coffee. Flavor is cacao, dust and roast. Medium and smooth body. Warmth from alcohol.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. Soft. 120113

25-DEC-2012, bottle @Morten, from Ølbutikken. Black with high, light brown, dense, lasting head. Aroma is milk stout-like with cocio:-) Chocolate taste with vanilla and a little roast. Finish with a touch of bitterness. Soft carbonation and medium body. Simple but delicious.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a creamy light brown head. Sweet vanillaish roast in the nose. Rich body, a little low in carbonation, very heavy on the vanilla, very subtle on the roast. Some warming alcohol. A little too much of the vanilla for my personal liking. 271212
