Bottle. High creamy lasting and good looking light brown head. Oh yes, black it is indeed. Smooth cfreamy and pleasant aroma of choccolate and vanilla. Impressive. Choccolate dominated creamy sweet but not too sweet roasted mallt flavor with just a weak but nice hops bitternes. Low carbonation. Long sweet finish. Very well balanced and solid body with no sign in smell or taste of alcohol. Maybe not too inventive but indeed very good and addictive. Sorry mates your label is not snobbish enough, otherwise your ratings would get the characters this beer deserves.

Tap. Pours pitch black. Nose of wood and vanilla. Nice light coffee and vanilla flavor, slightly low carbonation. This one is a bit less flavorful than usual, might be on a new cask. Seriously good stout though.

Kulsort, velduftende og smagfuld. En rigtig fin Stout med behersket bitterhed.
Afbalanceret alkohol gør at øllen kam drikkes alene.
En rigtig god øl!

this one was like complete mess- in aroma some cereals with herbs, grass; tasteless, and maybe with some yeast defects cause aroma and taste was unpleasant, thin body, darkest malts dominant.

Lovely subtle IMP stout. Decent roastiness in background, some cocoa, vanilla, smooth. Moderate sweet with moderate to light bitterness. Problem with this one - feels bit empty - either ABV is too high to call it simple stout, either body is too thin to call it IMP

500ml bottle - thanks Kairi!
Sweet and roasty, but pretty bland, toasted marshmallows. Bourbon biscuits. Nice black, tan head. Pretty bland taste too. Way too much sugar here, not enough malt. Sweet slick paalte. This has just been over alcoholised by sugar, it has no more to offer in the taste department than a 4% stout. Chocolate, because of the sweetness, tastes cheap. Anna goes as far to call it fake chocolate.

500ml bottle, bryg nr. 766, vintage 2013, trade with Skinnyviking. Stored in my cellar for more than a year. Motor oily pour revealing a solid rocky, light brown head, crocheted lacing to the glass, and a jet black coloured body. Nicely roasted dark malty nose. Mixed taste character of dark chocolate, dark vanilla and subdued candy sweetness, nicely offset by a roasted bitter ending. Well bodied. Enjoying sipper on a dark Saturday eve (Tromsø 03.01.2015).
