Bottle. High creamy lasting and good looking light brown head. Oh yes, black it is indeed. Smooth cfreamy and pleasant aroma of choccolate and vanilla. Impressive. Choccolate dominated creamy sweet but not too sweet roasted mallt flavor with just a weak but nice hops bitternes. Low carbonation. Long sweet finish. Very well balanced and solid body with no sign in smell or taste of alcohol. Maybe not too inventive but indeed very good and addictive. Sorry mates your label is not snobbish enough, otherwise your ratings would get the characters this beer deserves.

50 cl bottle poured in to a Snifter. Batch # 1104. Pitch black with a thin, tanned head. Sweet, roasted aroma with chocolate, coffee, caramel malts, vanilla and dark malts. Taste is sweet. Look; black body, beige top, very varied lacing. Aroma; roasted malts, coffee with raisins, orangeish hops. Taste; roasted sweet malts, milky chocolate, fruity hops there back. Lots of smooth sweet chocolate in finish. Semi dry and easy on palate. Overall quality stout. [50cl br btl 8.5%abv, gift f SkinnyViking]

En av alla öl i adventskalendern. Denna var riktigt bra. Kul att testa okända öl för mig.

Copenhagen 24/12 2015. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel. Drawing of cute longhaired dog on the label. Pours opaque black with big beige head. Settles as solid layer of beige foam with some lacing. Aroma is coffee, caramel sweetness, booziness and something nice and roasted. Soft carbonation and thick oily palate (bunker oil). Taste is a bit on the bitter side. Slightly subdued caramel sweetness, coffee bitterness, roastiness and a tinge of alcohol. Warming in the cold months of winter - but not especially Christmas inspired. And I can understand that "Phister" is the dog. Mystery solved.
