Tap at Frisco Taphouse. Pours clear orange to copper with a small, frothy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is fruity, pine, citrus and grapefruit hops with biscuit malt and light fruity esters. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness with light malt and fruity esters, and a dry finish. Medium carbonation and carbonation.

Strong IPA...big nose, bitter, dry finish. Body was a little heavier than I would have liked but overall it was very assertive and refreshing. Good pineyness and bitter, good balance.

Really nice IPA. Wish this wasn’t just a one off. Deep orange color. Aroma of piney hops. Flavor is more of the same with a nice malt backbone which didn’t get in the way. Like I said before I wish this one wasn’t a one off because I could see myself drinking more often.

Location/Date:Draft on November 30th, 2012 at Flying Dog Holiday Party.

Appearance: Pours a orange maroon cloud.
Aroma: Aroma of fresh piney hops.
Taste: Medium bitterness, belgian yeast.
Palate:Medium body light body.

Summary: Pretty nice IPA, prefer it to Ragging Bitch..but that’s just me.
