COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed exclusively for the 2013 Craft Brewers Conference (and a collaborative project with Reyes Beverage Group), Bloodline is an intensely-hopped IPA brewed with Blood Orange peel and juice.

According to our Brewmaster Matt Brophy, the result is a flavor profile that harnessed the best aspects of both the hops (Warrior, Citra, and Galaxy) and the citrus. He and his brewing team are very fond of hop-based citrus aromas, so experimenting with actual citrus was a natural extension of that.

2014 version is brewed with Northern Brewer, Citra and Galaxy.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a large wine glass. Vibrant orange color in the glass. The head is thin and white. The flavor and aroma consist of the soft, sweet and slightly tart character of the blood orange all balanced by a clean malt bill.

355ml bottle. Pours hazy orange golden with a thick, sticky white head. Aroma is sweet malts, citrus, hops. Taste has less citrusy notes, a bit too watery, finish could be stronger in the hops department but overall is a very drinkable beer. Alcohol is very well hidden, good final bitterness but not very not lasting. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Had this courtesy of Geraint from the BSF Bar GBBF, (Trade Day) Tuesday 9th August 2016 cheers Geraint! Pours gold in colour a slight haze, white head atop. We were mentally comparing this to Beavertown Bloody El and preferred that beer, however as Geraint correctly states this grows on you. The Orange which is not as punchy of pronounced as the Beavertown Bloody El does start to assert itself, fruity, touch sweet but a good beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light citrus, grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big, zesty orange citrus fruit, woody hop bitter, light alcohol palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
