COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

12oz bottle poured into an imperial pint glass. The aromas are somewhat suppressed initially with caramel malt, some cream, and citrus poking through. Near mid glass, the aromas pick up a bit more exposing a light tropical character, some pie crust, honey and pine. It pours a syrupy looking clear orange copper color with a white, small bubble head. It leaves behind a spray of light lace with a medium ring and a light soapy surface. The taste is a medium bitter and medium sweet - slightly more bitter than sweet. The oily, medium-light bodied beer has a fuzzy, lightweight carbonation which keeps the beer as a whole pretty smooth. There’s a significant amount of pine and roasted toffee to the mouth with a citrus rind finish. It’s refreshing, and mostly clean with a light pine and grapefruit aftertaste.

Nice hoppy cut at the beginning but cuts away fast to nothing. Nice taste and color. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma includes lots of pine, some citrus. It smells absolutely delicious, but the taste doesn’t quite live up to it. Piney hop notes, a little sweet near the beginning, citrus bitterness.

355ml bottle from Vinmonopolet bestillingsutvalget. Stable, frothy white head leaving rings of lace down the glass. Near-clear golden body. Aroma is mid-dry with inviting fruity hops. Succulent taste of fruity hops, hints of peach, orange and apricot with a backdrop of earthy malts. Smooth bitter ending. Soft in the mouth. Tasty and refreshing (Tromsø 10.08.2014).

Flaske 355ml fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Gyldenbrun. Høyt luftig skum med litt kniplingslacing. Svakt uklar. Aroma av aprikos & plommer. Lite kullsyre. Smaken litt tynn men fint balanse. Svakt syrlig og svakt bitter ettersmak.
