COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isnít overpoweringly hoppy. Itís brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Nice appearance but the flavor was a bit primative. If nothing else, the name is a conversation piece!

An everyday beer. Great clean fresh taste with some citrus, grapefruit flavor. Good beer.

Draft at Melting Pot. Light Amber color. Medium Head. Citrus Aroma and hoppy flavor. Great alternative to the everyday pale ale.

Dark copper, decent head retention. Light bodied, very dry, pine and citrus flavors, rusty malt flavor, slightly resin ous. Dryness and light honey donít balance well with the resinousnes.

A balanced, drinkable offering. I donít remember too many details as I had it several nights ago, but worth trying. Best offering from Flying Dog Iíve tried.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2005 I was not immpressed with this, pale ale with some watery taste. Nothing special, but drinkable.Re-rate 6-30-05 I must have been in a bad mood. This was really a nice PA. Color was burnt orange. Very nice hops, this was much better then my first immperssion.

I have to admit that I was drawn to this beer ícause of the ínaughtyí name it features as its moniker. Nonetheless, Iíll call this one Pale Ale light, as the hops just arenít as pronounced as they should be, and the malt doesnít assert itself enough. Fair beer, but not one to go out of your way for.

A little citrus in the aroma. Hoppy flavor. I guess itís not a bad APA, but I would rather drink Sierra Nevadaís and Boulevardís APA. I would rather drink Bellís APA as well. Like I said...itís not bad, but Iíve had better.

A typical bitter ale. Lots of hops and nice if you like that sort of thing.

Pours a hazy dark brownish/orange with a small bit of fizzy offwhite head. Aroma is citrusy, but not in the usual manner associated with an apa. Somehow it smells more mellow and subdued, but very interesting all the same. Canít really put my finger on what it smells like, but i like it. Flavor is smooth and hoppy, but not abrasive like some ipas. Instead it is a nice well balanced brew that is very enjoyable from start to finish.
