Bottle. Amber color, small but long lasting head. Good citrusy, fruity and floral hop aroma, light cattyness. Dryer flavor with fruity-vinous and bitter character. Perhaps oxidised, seems to have lost flavors of malt and hops. Bitter-fruity finish.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of floral & citrusy (grapefruit) hops as well as caramel malts. A small nut scent as well. Poured amber-copper in color. Good-sized rocky head lasted. Good lacing. Clear and sparkling. Flavor of Cascade hops is overpowered by malts. Some citrusy grapefruit flavor along with a little wood and caramel malt. Heavily sweet. Lightly bitter. A bit unbalanced in the heavy malt sweetness. Light bodied and a bit thin. Average carbonation. Short, sweet but slightly dry finish. Overall, a fair APA. Too malty and not bitter enough.

Crystal clear golden color with decent off white head. Big aroma of citrusy hops which gives a first impression of an IPA. Taste is rather light after what I was expecting from the aroma. Maybe even a bit watery. Really nice hop bitterness. Not too harsh either. Also there is a malty and slightly bready aftertaste that is pleasant. A refreshing summer time ale.

Pours amber honey w/ a shallow creamy froth. Aroma is flowery w/ slight dry hay. Medium nectar, light on the residual effers. Flavors are dried hay and malty w/ a hopy character. A nice bittering on the finish. Overall: not impressed but descent.

12 oz bottle: Med amber color with tiny off white head. Aroma is malty, fair amount of caramel, touch of herbal, slightly piney hops. Flavor has caramel, mildly chewy malts, faint herbal hops. Finish is well balanced, with a mild bitterness.

Poured to a copper color, with off-white head that diminished quickly, yet left good lacing. Kind of a strange beer, regarding aroma and flavor. I detected aroma of hops and dark fruit (plums, figs), yet taste was what I expected more of a pale ale, citrus fruits, dominated by grapefruit. I enjoyed the flavor, yet the finish tended to be sour. May have ben a bit old. I’m sure I’ll have the opportuinity to have another, and will re-rate if finsih is markedly different. All and all, still a good beer-drinking beer.

Rich orange amber with a decent head. Terrific resiny grapefruit aromas accent a nicely malted beer. A fragrant and flavourful American pale ale that is a nice example of the style.
