COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isnít overpoweringly hoppy. Itís brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

This tastes like a home brew recipie that has been refined but not tweaked to perfection. I swear I taste Irish Moss in this one. A better than average pale ale but just slightly. Sad to say since itís a CO brew. I need to taste more of the FD brews to get a better sense of them as a whole. Not impressed with this one....very blah. Flat on the taste aroma and flavor. Maybe itís the in between micro and macro market they were going for because I get the sense, based on distribution of the FD beers that they do well. Cheers!

2005 bottle consumed 9/6/2005. Sweet and hoppy once the cap is popped. Quite fresh and powerful smelling. Bit of buttercream backing, but lots of nice tangerines and pineapples. Sharp and spicy, quite perfumey and leafy; the hops stick out nicely, but thereís a good caramel backing in there. Rusty, copper-amber color with a small beige head, moderate retention, no lacing. Clear and filtered/force carbonated. As the hoppiness recedes some sweet nutty and fruity tones are felt. Flavor is perfumey and lightly citric with a good spiciness mixed with caramel. Fruity, pleasant, spicy. Fairly vacuous mouthfeel, but not nearly as bad as most filtered beers. Cherries, oranges. . fade to light nutty caramel.

Suposedly the pick of the litter. (other than specialties) Pours a nice spotty head with a reddish orange hue. good hop aroma, not much backbone. Not much hop in the mouth, but the aftertaste is dry and somewhat bitter. While watery, its smooth and refreshing. Someone told me it was written up in some large market newspaper, but I cannot quite understand why?

Draft At Taco Mac in Chattanooga. Dark amber color with a moderate white head that diminished slowly. Moderate hop and malt aroma. Medium body. Moderate hop flavor with a moderate sweet bitter finish.

Fairly hoppy aroma with a touch of malt sweetness. Copper with a decent sized bubbly white head. Grapefruit bitterness and crisp hoppiness rests atop a very mild malt foundation. Very uncomplicated beer. Decent.

With a deep color for the style, this one tastes of floral hops dampened by an earthy maltiness. Altogether a good, drinkable pale ale that doesnít offer anything too exciting besides the artwork on the label.

pours a dark amber with a thin, staying head. hop aroma. Flavor was hops and malt, with a bitter finish.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2005 Sort of reminds you of an IPA. Nice redish color, great bitter mouth, OK nose, dry and drinkable. A good summer drink.

Faint aroma, sweet, hops, grass. Golden brown in color. Not much of a head. Crisp sweetness in flavor with some hops. A pretty good American Pale Ale.

Heady, deep red-gold, darker than a typical pale. Nose of old hops, earth, some pine/citrus. Fruit snacks. Thin body, subdued and sweet flavor. Flat, blah.
