Copper colour with a nice lasting off-white head. Sweet citrus fruit aroma with notes of eucalyptus. I found the flavours in this one quite boring, Some malt and citrus flavours, Very light bodied. Very clean dry finish.

12 oz bottle Pours a clear amber with a frothy off white head that has great lacing and is very lasting. Aroma is of hoppy spruce with touches of citrus and alcohol. It is dry medium body. Lively with a bitter finish. A good aftertaste. A very tasty pale ale. I enjoyed it very much.

A nice reddish amber ale with a thin tan head. Some bitterness, but not as much as I expected for a pale ale. Quite drinkable, I will finish this bottle after I complete the rating with a shrimp cocktail.

This is pretty much your standard golden ale. It has a bit of bitterness, yeah, but a pale ale??? Címon?! Boring...

Bottle. Pours , well, not all that pale. Lets try an amber honey color, with no head what so ever. Nose is malty, pink grapefruit, hint of carmel, and ...coffee. Huh. Yup, definitely instant coffee. This one is packed with flavor, bold. Very very malty. grapefruit juice, carmel, light hop bitterness. Finishes with some pleasant floral bitterness, but overpowering by any means. Feel is on the thin side, downright watery, but that doesnít detract too much from the beer; the lighter feel in a way compliments the refreshing nature of the flavor. Yea, pretty solid pale. Not earth shattering or anything, but definitely worth a taste.

Pours a light amber. Aroma is kind of sweet, with some nice hop scents. Flavor is grainy/citrus with a dry finish.

NIce brownish red color. Slight glaze with not much of a head. Smells good hoppy. The taste is a little thin but not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2006 This was the first of the Flying Dog Brewery I had had, but had known about it for some time. Itís not my favorite of the bunch, but itís very drinkable and, at least the first 6 pack I had had, not as hoppy as most Pale Aleís Iíve had. Overall, a very good "drinking" beer. Pours a slightly dark amber (a dark cider color) with medium "fizz" head.
