A bit bland, but not thin. In spite of not being too thin, the malt is also not too heavy the way it is in a number of American brews. There is a nice bite of bitterness. Overall, this is a mild beer, but a quality one: the hops taste nice. It was very crisp and refreshing. I certainly enjoyed it.

Noth as much hops and dryness as I prefer yet I am a sucker for pale ale and just love the labels.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2007 (Bottle at Plain Kitchen, Göteborg) Pours clear orange with a nougat/white head. Aroma of citrusy and fruity hops. Fresh baguettes. Malt. Smells both round and fresh. Flavour starts with a bitterness and a malty taste. Continues with a not so complex hoppyness. Hints of anise, fennel and some other spices i cant place. Flowers. Finishes with a mild bitterness.

Dark color, off white head. Light scent. Not to bitter. Not much to say about this one.

Bottle: Clear copper color with a tan small fizzy head. Light citrusy hop and freshly cut grass aroma with a bit more in the flavor. It is true that it has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads. The aftertaste is bitter citrus, a grapefruit mixed with a lemon. The body is nice - thick, smooth with a nice amount of carbonation.

Nice medium amber color with a small head. Aroma is a mild hops and malt scent. Taste is a blend of hops, citrus, pine, malts, and sweetness. A little more on the sweet side than the hoppy side. Nice brew overall.

Bottle. Amber color, small but long lasting head. Good citrusy, fruity and floral hop aroma, light cattyness. Dryer flavor with fruity-vinous and bitter character. Perhaps oxidised, seems to have lost flavors of malt and hops. Bitter-fruity finish.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of floral & citrusy (grapefruit) hops as well as caramel malts. A small nut scent as well. Poured amber-copper in color. Good-sized rocky head lasted. Good lacing. Clear and sparkling. Flavor of Cascade hops is overpowered by malts. Some citrusy grapefruit flavor along with a little wood and caramel malt. Heavily sweet. Lightly bitter. A bit unbalanced in the heavy malt sweetness. Light bodied and a bit thin. Average carbonation. Short, sweet but slightly dry finish. Overall, a fair APA. Too malty and not bitter enough.
