The aroma had light fermented fruit, grapefruits, citrus, orange zest, and a light malt note. The flavor had a thin orange note w/ light fruit and slight grapefruits. The beer poured a golden orange color w/ yellow highlights; thin head and lacing. The mouthfeel was light and carbonated.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2010 Draft. Much better than the bottle I tried years ago. Dark amber, fresh herbal aroma, and a solid dose of cascade hoppiness. Just the right ’weight’ for a bar quaffer. Finishes dry and tart. Nice.

Hoppy nose, copper, tiny beige head. Malt flavour, with slight hops. Light bodied, sweet. Average. Thanks to...I cannot say.

pretty good apa, not too hoppy, but its ok, easy drinking, goes down well. Nice aftertaste, I’ll drink it again

Good aroma from the bottle / better in the glass...Not a very strong head. Did see some lacing. The beer is very refreshing but not particularly complex - initial hoppiness recedes until light citrus flavor appears and then a somewhat dry finish. Tried to taste the pepper that others have mentioned but couldn’t taste it.

Sampled at Brew Ha Ha 2005. Orange with a small, tan head. Tangerine and bitter orange peel aroma. Nice caramel/piney hop intermingling. Finishes clean, slightly resinous and with a hint of black pepper.

One of my favorites, though I’m not crazy about the other flying dog beers that i’ve tried so far. Fruity and clean, light and hoppy.

An amber color with a small head. Aroma is a tad citrus and the taste has a similar flavor. Not much to say about this one.

Smell had citrus, graitfruit and caramel. The taste was the same but one dimensional. I was looking for layers and did not get them. Good Pale Ale none the less.
