COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isnít overpoweringly hoppy. Itís brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Pretty hoppy but didn't ruin my palette. My first from this brewery. Not the worst pale ale, at least.

Very drinkable American Pale Ale. Clean, fresh cascade hops. hopefully in twenty years the U.S will be known for APA's such as this, rather than the macro piss-water brews. Love the artwork also.

Light coppery color with a nice off-white head that sits about an inch high, thick and creamy top that fades slow to finely result in a skim always present and thin stringy lace. Smell has a nice toasty caramel backing with a floral/citric hop balanced in over the top. Sense of wax and light must comes through in bigger wiffs. Taste has a very solid little malty backing thats toasted breadish but light and the hops blend in very nicely, keeping a solid balance lending a nice floral/citric/herbal/grassy thing going on. Very sublte layers of flowers/herbs and grassy notes pop in and out as it flows around the palette which I liked alot. A bit of fruityness makes a slim appearance as well. Very complex in that realm. Very smooth and very easy mellow bitterness; clean, fresh, and lightly waxy. Medium body, lightly tanged, smooth overall, with a light easy crispness in the finish. Very enjoyable.

A good pale ale. Lacked a little of the hops I'm used too. Extemley good malt flavor with a nice finish. Very drinkable.

ante (3374) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 19, 2003
(sampled draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, Sweden) Amber color with a thick foamy white head. Hoppy aroma. A bit thin in flavour and body. Some grassy and hoppy oily notes was found. Hmmm...avarge.

12 oz. brown bottle. No freshness date seen anywhere. Sorry folks, I just don't see it. This is not a great beer by any stretch of the imagination. Poured out a very dark orange - copper color. Not appropriate for the style. Too dark. No head to speak of, no lacing either. Not much in the way of malty aromas, slight hoppy aroma though. Thin body, with little or no mouthfeel to it. Watery tasting & bland also. Not a good beer in my book.

amber color with decent fizzy head, I always love cascade hops and these are present in spades. Drinkable in quantity, nice APA

As shiny and coppery as a freshly minted penny. Medium-sized, fizzy, persistent, eggshell head. Very well-hopped. Evergreen, citrus and white pepper in the aroma. Tart and tangy flavor. Well-balanced with an adequate amount of malt. Mostly this beer is about hops, though. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Tart, tangy and piney finish.

boto (1854) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - SEP 9, 2003
Draught: Sampled at the Ct River Brewers Festival. This beer was a golden, almost yellow color. The aroma and taste were both somewhat thin. There was some hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Definitely a dog.

Nice color and pretty cream-colored off white head. Aroma was straight ahead cascades. Very hoppy beer, which is not a bad thing. the problem is that there was not enough malt balance. not really a traditional pale ale. There are better versions of an APA. A little disappointed.
