COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Not a bad pale ale but nothing makes me want to sing its praises either. Slightly above average.

Hoppy in the American style. Nothing to get too hopped, I mean hyped, about. Almost spicy.

Maltysweet nose, some citrus hints. Dark amber hue. Beige head retained well. Malts up front, light to medium bodied, kinda thin in the middle, and pleasant hop finish. I fdont know about the choice of malt and hops in this brew....Not bad tho, very drinkable.

Knocked back a few of these while watching Monday Night Football. Clean fresh nose of citrus, resin, pine, brown sugar, and cheesy yeast (think cheesecake). Pours a sparkling deep ruby copper. The huge off-white rocky head is fully lasting with stellar lacing. The flavor starts with a good malt presence, the middle is moderately acidic, and the finish is deep with a long peppery bitterness. Excellent depth and balance. The medium creamy body is lively and feels astringent at the finish. An exceptional brew representing an exceptional style.

This one was pretty good. Crisp and hoppy, with a bit of malt in front, creating a smooth transition from start to finish. Light floral aroma. Goes down smooth. Nothing to go shooting off fireworks or start a parade over, though.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2005 Rerate Good, smooth drinking and clean, slight mintiness. Refreshing. Just not 3.8 worthy. Original 3.8 Nice and hoppy - but not overpowering. Sweet, fresh, grassy aroma. Copper color with a light head. Slightly bitter finish.

good pale ale. It seemed a little short on hop flavor to me.

Pours with a thick bubbly head that leaves rings with each sip. Pretty smooth, but a little thin and not nearly as hopped as some of the better pale ales. The body is a bit bland, but it’s definitely not a bad beer. It may deserve a re-rate since I tried it after the Stone Pale Ale which put it to shame.

Standard pale ale amber. Single note of piney hops. Mildly astringent, and lacking in the malt department. There’s a strange sour pinapple thing going on in the finish. A disjointed effort, but not entirely bad.
