COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isnít overpoweringly hoppy. Itís brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Well, this isnít hopped enough to satify THIS hophead, but it is a mere pale ale, and not an IPA. Very crisp, drinkable. The finish is a bit wheaty, which seems to be a traight of flying dog beers, but I donít enjoy very much. This is a decent pale ale, but there are many better that are worth buying first.

This is a decent pale ale. It is Hoppy, but not to the point where it could be confused with an IPA. There is a touch of bitterness in the finish, I donít really care for, and itís a bit yeasty, but all in all, this is a very drinkable beer.

Nice middle of the road pale ale. Decent hoppy character but not as well balanced as I would have liked. Appearance was good with a nice coppery color. Off white mostly diminishing head with moderate carbonation. Medium bodied and good mouthfeel.

I was intrigued by the spicy bready malt undertones and didnít have to fight through overhopping to get to them, which was nice. They make some weird stuff at this brewery.

Lovely peach-ruby with a delicate lacey head. Wonderful sourdough aroma countered with plenty of hop bitters. Plenty of pine-cone overtone in the first sip and thin maltiness. Something about this beer does not add up, however, to warrant a great rate.

Okay, true to style, which I donít go out of my way for. Carmel malt hint and hoppy bitterness at first sip, finishes dry.

The aroma is sweet. The taste is decent but leaves you with a bad aftertaste.

Iím really impressed with this. Iím surprised its rated so low. Its not extremely complex, or flavorful. But its incredibly well balanced and smooth. Good bitterness, but not too much, and overall very pleasant to drink. Good mouthfeel too.

Wonderful aroma. Strong hop character--can smell and taste the Cascade--maybe they went a little overboard. Good malt balance, coppery appearance and good head. Very good beer.
