COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isnít overpoweringly hoppy. Itís brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

I do love a good pale ale, and this one didnít dissapoint, but it didnít wow either. Copper beauty with hoppy flave and malty finish.

Sort of spicy maltiness. Could always benefit from more hops. I always like getting the flying dog beers when I do run across them cuz their labels are pretty sweet.

Pretty good pale ale. I wouldnít take it over sierra nevada, but it is worth trying. The bottle is pretty entertaining, too.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2003 RERATE --- Light orange gold color. Medium Head. Aroma is malty and floral. A lighter bodied pale ale. Hoppy without being too bitter. Somewhat fruity and floral. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, with some staying power. Some sweetness in aftertaste. Very drinkable beer.

This is certainly my favorite pale ale, but thatís not saying too much. It was very hoppy, but not so much to make you turn your face inside out. Better balance than any of the other paleís Iíve had.

Not impressed at all. First beer in some time that I have not finished the entire bottle. Very bitter, and harsh on the palette, while providing little enjoyment. Thought I was going to like this from the ratings itís received.

Hoppy aroma with a very malty taste and a crisp but somewhat light hoppy finish. Very pleasant and easy to drink.

Short hop nose that gives way to the malt. The palate is mildly hoppy with a nice malt profile. Easy drinking APA. A crowd pleaser.

This is mostly aroma. Smells great, cascade hops. Looks great, big rocky head that lasts. Itís just too light in the finish, I think. Good for rehydrating, I guess.
