COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Appearance- gold, copper, amber hue. Semi- clear/cloudy (even 20 min. after pouring into tulip). Decent vanilla white head, disappeared quickly but left a healthy foam lace that remained for a good bit. Smell- nothing that jumped out immediately/obviously. Faint lemon and grass notes. Taste- very light, lemony, grass taste. Nothing to strongly praise or pan. Will be helped greatly if accompanying food/meal. Mouthfeel- light (to medium, at most). No strong/obvious impressions, otherwise. Overall- this beer? So so. Just ok for me. Most of the stuff I drink, that I don’t love, would still far outweigh the mass produced crap. In here, compared to the better stuff, I’d leave this one alone. But, don’t ignore the rest of Flying Dog’s offerings. This is a strong producer of excellent craft beers (i.e. Raging Bitch Belgian IPA, Gonzo Imperial Porter, Pearl Necklace Oyster Stout, In Heat Wheat). And, an outstanding experience if you visit the brewery for a tour followed by the post tour visit to the tasting room. Go! Cheers all!

Passion fruit on the nose, light body with huge fruity hop presence. Easy drinking. Dangerously so.

Típica pale ale anglèsa però amb un petit toc de llúpol americà. Típica pale ale inglesa pero con un pequeño toque de lúpulo americano.

Bottle. A- Pine, spruce, citrus, floral. A- Copper color, clear liquid, white head. T- Floral, piney, citrus, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- I don’t like Cascade hops so I should’ve known I wouldn’t like this one. For me, it just seemed like a standard APA with nothing special going on. The hop profile was quite strong and lingering.
