COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Bottle. A- Pine, spruce, citrus, floral. A- Copper color, clear liquid, white head. T- Floral, piney, citrus, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- I don’t like Cascade hops so I should’ve known I wouldn’t like this one. For me, it just seemed like a standard APA with nothing special going on. The hop profile was quite strong and lingering.

What’s not to like about a brew called Doggie Style Pale Ale? If you enjoy pale ales that are bitter, piney, and resinous this might be the one for you. Flying Dog states that the color is amber-copper which sounds exactly right to me. Headiness is nice but nothing special. The aroma reveals some pine, cedar, and resin. Taste belongs to the assertive Cascade hops - I won’t complain. The best part about this beer is the finish. It’s quick, clean, and refreshing. In the end, Doggie Style has a lot going for it. No, it’s not exactly a delight that lives up to its carnal name, but it certainly is tasty.

Medelstor kropp, medelbeska.

Bottle from fakta, 0.35 litre. What a great beer this is, very good smell and taste, still very easy to drink. Thumps up from little me here in Denmark.

Ça attaque sec dans la bouche ! C’est herbeux, y’a de l’agrume. Le palais se laisse tapisser et on a envie d’y retourner aussitôt.

Bottle. Hazy amber, very frothy off-white head. Nose is malty. Crisp malty taste, with an abrupt bitter finish. Medium body. Average carbonation.

Shared a 33cl bottle from Little Britain (Luxembourg). Pours a clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is liquorice, malty and fruity. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is medium bitter and medium sweet. Overall, a nice beer but a bit sweet too much.

Light amber with white head. Aromas of malts and hops. Fairly flat, fairly bland. No decent top notes. Dullish. Wacky Yank name and ’hilarious’ label, though. Best avoided.
