COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Burnt orange with a slight haze and a thin, sandy head the drops quickly. Light malt aromas shine through a fruity hop profile made up of grapefruit, lemons, and papaya. Light western hops with little malt presence and a nice finishing bitterness. Light body and medium carbonation. Very drinkable but a little thin for an american pale ale.

Dobre piwo, z mocną goryczką jak na styl, ale raczej nie opłaca się go importować. Całkiem zwyczajne.

Transfer from BA review on 5-26-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a deep golden amber color with a billowy white head. The head has a good level of retention slowly fading to leave a good level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass. Smell- The aroma is heaviest of a caramel malt as well as some notes of hop. The hop is mostly of a citrus nature with some grapefruit and lemon, but there are also notes of a floral hop as well. Taste – The taste begins with a bready and biscuit flavor mixed with a little bit of caramel sweetness. Lighter fruit flavors of a mix of tropical and apple come to the tongue toward the middle. These remain very light in comparison the bready and biscuit flavors as well as the caramel. While the fruit flavors come so to do flavors of a grapefruit citrus hop. They start out weaker and get more strength as the taste moves to the end, where they are joined with a little bit of a floral taste to leave a moderately hopped and medium sweet biscuity flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of thickness and smoothness with a carbonation level that is on the medium side. Quite nice of the blend of sweet and citrus hop, all while keeping a more easy drinking feel about it. Overall – It contains an overall nice blend of citrus hop, sweet flavors and malty flavors. A rather tasty brew with a easy drinking feel and taste.

Bottle, 3 months past bb date. Pours amber/orange with a white head. Aroma: caramel, tree bark, gingerbread, muted tropical fuit. Taste: caramel, citrus, resin, tangerine, spices (nutmeg?), hazelnut. Light sweetness, medium bitterness, good body for the abv, nice dry bitter finish (but never harsh). Despite the age of this bottle, it’s a lovely beer.

Bottle. Pours clear orange-amber with a lively White head. Aroma has grassy hops, some exotic fruits and a sweet caramel malty fruityness as well. Fairly weak aroma. Taste has some malty flavors up front, followed by a hoppy bitterness. Sweet fruity notes in the background, but overall this beer is not very powerfull. Still tastes good though. Medium-High carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2014 12oz bottle poured into an imperial pint glass. The aroma is initially a sharp metallic, which then fades and transitions into something damp and doughy. This starts to turn towards a sweet cookie dough with caramel. Finally, near mid glass, the aroma settles into caramel and citrus with a light tropical character, some honey, pine, and a slight burnt quality. It pours a syrupy looking clear orange copper color with a yellowish, thin soapy head. It leaves behind an OK spray of light lace with a medium ring and a light soapy film on it’s surface. The taste is a medium waxy bitter and medium light citrus sweet - slightly more bitter than sweet. The oily, medium-light bodied beer has a fuzzy, lightweight carbonation which keeps the beer, as a whole, pretty smooth. There’s a significant amount of pine and resin to the mouth, with supporting tones roasted toffee and a light a citrus rind finish. It’s refreshing, and mostly clean with a strong-ish resin, light pine, and grapefruit aftertaste.
