COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Pours a bright copper with a frothy off-white head. Very sticky lacing and a head that has some staying power. Brown sugar and pine nose, kinda funky, but decent with nuances of grapefruit. Flavor is somewhat enjoyable but it seems to be lacking. Fairly enjoyable. Mild hoppiness, with a touch of metal. Hops are prevalent up front and linger mildly throughout. Lemon pith, grassy and floral notes. Some sweetness but overall not much in the way of maltiness. Certainly a reason for low ABV. Middle of the road.

Aroma: hops (citrus + pine) Taste: very fruity, orange peel, some passion fruit A bit light and watery in the finish. Not hugely complex, but very enjoyable

Aroma of hops and citrus with pine notes. Copper color with not much of a head. Light body watery feel with a taste of hops and pine resin. Mildly bitter with a chalky bitter finish.

Clear amber, strong white head. Sweet citrusy fruit, that would be the Cascade, on the nose. Light bitterness, some grassy note. Nice.

All in all, the palate results in emptiness with a pretension to heavy alcohol amount, but that sense quickly fades out. Refreshing, though, at least at the very beginning.

Keg @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Copper with a small head. Quite a robust pale ale with caramel-malt in its nose. Has a fairly gritty taste with malt involved here too. Fairly crisp.

Tap @Szynkarnia. Aroma of citrus. Nice lacing. Bitterness is low, medium sweetness. Medium body. Correct classic pale ale, nothing special. Good drink ability.

Poured from bottle, pale hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma with notes of citrus and fruit, some grass and bread. Taste is nicely hoppy and bitter with a well balanced malt body and a long bitter finish. More IPA like than APA.
