COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Middle of the road really. Copper, fair head. Not much nose. Strong Heineken character..... OK hops, wouldn’t seek it out

0,355L bottle, BB 24.03.15 (as Flying Dog Pale Ale). Pours slightly hazy amber with off white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruits, and malt. Flavor follows the nose. Finish is lingering grapefruit bitter with some tart and sweetness. Overall: solid brew.

Bottle. 5.5%. Best before 10.09.14. Pours a hazy light amber with an off-white head. Good lacing. Fat hop aroma, hints of pine and citrus. Flavour is sweetish and hoppy, a bit fat. Fruity as it warms, a bit berry-like. Feels a wee bit stale. Medium bitter hop finish. Lingering mild alcohol burn and a light grassy note. Overall good, but could do with a more outspoken hop profile. 26.07.14.

As it states - classic pale ale. I would add - classic light pale ale - even thou I dont consider myself as "hophead", it feels to thin in terms of hops. Light malty background with some citrus hops, bit grassy and piney, resiny. Light sweet with moderate to light bitterness. Its good as refreshing beer

Bottle. Aroma is mostly hoppy, classic American citrusy-resiny character, with a hint of caramel. Clear amber colour. Short lasting head. Taste is balanced with nothing standing out. The bitterness is on par with the sweet caramel malts and the hop flavour is rather restrained compared to what I expected. However it seems quite sessionable. Good beer.

Bottle at Tap East. Easy going hoppy ale. Drinkable. Enjoyable enough. It was lovely beer to have before picking up my kid on a Friday afternoon.
