gotohelunc (347), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Dec 10, 2007 Draft at Brixx. Nice dark auburn color with a white film of head. Decent little malty aroma. Rather sour flavor, like lemons mixed with a watery pale ale. Smooth drinking, but really not much body and what is there is clouded by the sourness.

Pours clear amber with fluffy white head. Aroma is PNW hops, pine and touch of citrus. Flavor is hops and water with little citrus. Smells great but what happen to hop flavor. Mouthfeel is watery. Had this right after Founder Pale Ale and this really lacks the hop flavor a good pale has and Founders APA isn’t even that hoppy. Would not buy again. Smooth, not overwhelmingly hopped, with a nice flavor. Notes of pine and citrus, with a dry slightly bitter finish. Nice malt flavor, balanced and very drinkable.
