dkachur (643), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA May 3, 2008 Bottle from Harris Teeter Charlottesville. Pours a deep copper red with a thin head that disappears quickly. Nice hop aroma with a honey-sweet background. The taste has a slight metallic tinge to it but is otherwise pleasant and fairly well balanced. Very drinkable.
Beerman6686 (567), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 Pours a nice amber color with a white head. Aroma was nice and hoppy, piney and some floral. Flavor was caramel malts dominated by bitter hops. Not bad. scotch4281 (20), Hollywood, Florida, USA Jul 26, 2008 I do like this beer. It was a bit bitter at first, but after a few sips, I was used to it and was happy to drink it. I would recommend this beer to anyone who likes IPA’s, but otherwise is interested in new beers. craftycarl21 (124), USA Jul 21, 2008 pours an orange amber with a moderate white head, high in carbonation. aroma has clear notes of honey, citrus, grapefruit, and hops. Flavor adds malt, but grapefruit becomes dominant with hops intertwined. Light palate, but enjoyable, especially in the summer. Best one out of the sampler 6 pack by flying dog so far. mkebeerparty (10), , USA Jul 21, 2008 I was a little disappointed with this beer. Originating in Colorado, it was hard to find in Milwaukee but I did find it somewhere in bottles. It almost tasted a little flat - not hoppy at all, but had a strong aroma. May be it tastes better on tap? Still a decent beer though and one I would recommend to try.
Awesome marketing campaign, with artwork created by Douglas Bowman, but I guess that isn’t (or shouldn’t be) the reason we drink beer??? Pinball (259), Allerød, Denmark Jul 19, 2008 ipa style aroma, strong.. looks okay, very fresh flavor, koriander? perhaps a little watery, but nice. lots of taste in this one, like a good IPA, just a little more breadth to the flavors. nice.
