COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Bottle: Pours light golden amber with frothy but diminishing head. Slight hop character on the nose. Complex taste, good balance between hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness. Good brew. The boys at Flying Dog have done it again. thank you. Have another? Lets finish off the case!!!

Bottle. Aroma is mostly hoppy, classic American citrusy-resiny character, with a hint of caramel. Clear amber colour. Short lasting head. Taste is balanced with nothing standing out. The bitterness is on par with the sweet caramel malts and the hop flavour is rather restrained compared to what I expected. However it seems quite sessionable. Good beer.

Bottle at home. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is malty, not much hop. Taste is malty, bit hoppy, slight bitter aftertaste. Bit thin. Drinkable, but not my favorite.

Bottle at Tap East. Easy going hoppy ale. Drinkable. Enjoyable enough. It was lovely beer to have before picking up my kid on a Friday afternoon.

Bottle, 355ml. Pours clear amber, copper red with foamy, but little airy off-white head that leaves modest lace. Rich caramel malty aroma on top with cascade hops underneath along some citrus and fruity notes as well. Flavour is light sweet, medium bitter with lots of pine hobs, without being overly dominated. Medium body, average-richly carbonated and decently long finish. Middle-notes are a bit one-sided though, but nothing to be really annoyed about. Good stuff.

Jolie robe ambrée, légèrement trouble. Arômes de citron, pin, légers fruits exotiques et caramel. Une bière bien houblonnée ce qui lui donne une bonne personnalité malgré la teneur en alcool relativement faible.

From 0,355l bottle. BBD: 24.3.15. Pours clear amber liquid, small to medium frothy white head. Aroma: light intensity, pine, citrus, tar, nice, gentle, harmonic. Taste: light sweet, light to medium bitter, dry, pine, citrus, tar, caramel malt, very harmonic, very drinkable. Palate: light body, oily texture, average cabonation, long bitter caramel finish. Overall: very good, balanec, light, but very drinkable and refreshing pale ale. Lot of taste with reasonable alcohol content.

Bottle: Clear, deep copper, thick head and good lace. Big caramel malt lift with subtle hops for a US pale ale. Dry, not sour and medium to medium high bitterness. A little hollow on the mid palate but great balance of malt and hop flavors. Certainly more East Coast or European in style than what we get on the West Coast.
