COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

355ml bottle from Vinmonopolet bestillingsutvalget. Stable, frothy white head leaving rings of lace down the glass. Near-clear golden body. Aroma is mid-dry with inviting fruity hops. Succulent taste of fruity hops, hints of peach, orange and apricot with a backdrop of earthy malts. Smooth bitter ending. Soft in the mouth. Tasty and refreshing (Tromsø 10.08.2014).

Bottle from bier-deluxe: Hazy orange color with many particels, off-white creamy head. Aroma of earl grey, honey, pine, herbs, malt. Flavor is light malty and caramelic, also notes of earl grey, pine, resin, herbs, citrus hops. Very good.

Flaske 355ml fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Gyldenbrun. Høyt luftig skum med litt kniplingslacing. Svakt uklar. Aroma av aprikos & plommer. Lite kullsyre. Smaken litt tynn men fint balanse.

At a time when there was not a lot to choose from this was the jam. Now this is just so so when compared to many others in the style. Pleasant and certainly sessionable. A little on the candi sugar side of the malt profile. Hops are light and piney.

Bottled. I cannot help it but I sense salmon fish in the aroma, or any similar fish simply fried on a pan. I do not know why. Tell me I am crazy but I trust my senses. BBD is 24.03.2015. Anyway, this is exactly my style of a pale ale. Simple, malt and hops balance with a fine refreshing bitter end. Except that salmon aroma the taste is overall great!
