Commercial Description:
Dogtoberfest is a unique beer containing five premium malts. This lager draws its influence from the Vienna Marzen or Oktoberfest style. It is rich and malty with a sweet aroma and deep mahogany color.

Bottle. Pours a nice brownish amber with a creamy thin head. Big sweet malt taste and a subtle hoppy counterpart. Nice full malty flavor. Good to pair with food.

Wow. I definitely was not expecting this. The caramel notes were the perfect blend to the malts in this beer. I expected it to be good but not this good.

From BevMo, this poured a light orange to amber with off white head and good lacing. Nose of caramel malts and spices. Medium mouthfeel and the flavor is malty. The finish is dry. Classic Oktoberfest.

Golden to amber in color with a good head and brussels lace. Malty aroma with caramel and spice notes. Taste is slightly lacking malty in flavor with caramel notes.

Pours with very little head even with a vigorous pour, hazy orangish colour. Aroma is kind of funny sort of sweet and malty some odd offaromas though. Flavor is nice and presents a good balance. Plenty of good autumnal roasty notes here. There is a funny fruity flavor sort of cherry like, sort of rotten fruitish. It’s ok.

12oz bottle. Pours a very light tan head with an orange-amber body. smells of biscuit, caramel and apples. I get a very small metallic note on the finish.

pours a medium copper .. no real foam .. sweet but muddled .. needs more of a backbone .. there are much better marzens .. flying dog can do better than this...

12oz bottle. Pours a rusty amber color with a foamy off white two finger head and some lacing. Smell of sweet caramel and toasted malts. Some spice and fresh baked bread. Tastes of light malts on the open. Becomes sweeter with the spices halfway through with bread and caramel. A bit thin with moderate carbonation.
