Commercial Description:
Dogtoberfest is a unique beer containing five premium malts. This lager draws its influence from the Vienna Marzen or Oktoberfest style. It is rich and malty with a sweet aroma and deep mahogany color.

Bottle. Reddish brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is mildly sweet and the flavour is dry and strongly roasted. Overall a drinkable dry and roasted beer, slightly too watery in parts.

Amber colour, medium head. Caramel in aroma. Flavour has caramel malts and toffee. Smooth mouthfeeling. Nothing special.

12 oz. bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. Amber color with persistent head. Malty and slightly toasty aroma with caramel and toffee. Sweetish, mellow and malty flavor with toffee and fresh fruitiness. Pleasant and mellow beer.

Fairly good marzen, could be a great session beer for the fall. Slight caramel aftertaste, bit shy on the hops as well. All in all, not a bad beer though.

this beer was taken directly after augustinerbrau maximator. this beer was different to a minimal degree with some of the difference actually better. equally sweet and fruity with less malt and a hop profile that this hop head welcomed. this is a nice october indeed.

340ml bottle (Konttori, Tampere) Rich orange, tiny head. Full bodied tangy malty aroma - very beery. A little creamy too. Taste is very pleasant - the malt isn’t as dominant as it was in the aroma, but there’s a good nutty brown taste. Nutty hopy finish. A tad watery but that doesn’t detract from the experience. A bit fizzy maybe.
