Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium amber brown with a large (2-3 fingers) rocky light tan head that lasted a little while leaving behind some puddled residue floating on top thus producing excellent lacing that really stuck to the glass. The aroma was strong of a toasted biscuit malt, a nice piney hop and an earthy yeast with notes of caramel and dried dark fruit. It tasted malty-sweet with a hint of caramel at first and mildly bitter from the hops at the finish with a touch of dried fruit at the end with the flavor lasting a really nice long time after the swallow. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and a little dry in texture with a nice soft carbonation. Overall a very impressive brew for this style, a perfect blending of flavors with a nice mild hop finish.

355 mml bottle tasted on 09/07/2014. Clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, honey and malts. Lot of caramel and yeast in the taste. Aftertaste is well balanced. Easy to drink beer with nothing special. Next one please!

12 oz bottle from backlog notes 07. Pours a clear amber brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted malts, caramel, a splash of fruit, metallic notes, mild earthy bitterness to the finish. Pretty average at best.

Countbeer (4302) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2014
Bottle: Served in a shaker: Medium to smaller sized creamy foamy head on top of a clear red ish amber colored beer. Aromas of malts, hay/grass, some cream/honey tones, hint of caramel, herbs and some bread. Flavour is herbal, bitter, toast, grass, some nettle, malts, hay and grass, light bready and nutty with a dry edge. Aftertaste is bitter, herbs, malts and bread with a grassy edge. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, low to just medium bodied and a light foamy to creamy texture. Simple and quite boring... Might taste better when more fresh.

Dark amber colour with a finger of fluffy head. Light, lagery aromas with some minerals and iron. Nothing exciting but also nothing offensive. Some fresh fruits, pears and pale malt. Slightly more toasty in the mouth but still rather anonymous. I guess this is fairly true to the style. For me it’s not more exciting than your average international lager.

Dark amber. Malty, but not too sweet. Toast and nuts. Not my favorite Marzen, but not bad.

Pours cloudy amber. Some bubbles. Caramel, honey, maple syrup malt aroma. Sweet aromas. All sweet fruits upfront- Strawberry, blackberry, autumnal fruits. Body is light and has a watery finish. Little or no bitterness on the way out and finishes sugary. Slight fizz. A bit of a fruit punch this and isn’t too bad.

Amber body. Aroma and taste are only full of caramel. No hops, no head, thin body. Nothing special.

Aroma of malts and caramel. Flavour is moderate malty sweetness with some faint hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Simple and easy to drink.
