Double Dog Double Pale Ale Back by popular demand, our original "Wild Dog Release" is back, and this time it’s for good. Double Dog Double Pale Ale is a generously hopped ale with a deep red color and pours with a nice frothy head. The abundance of hops will conjure some provocative aromas with hints of raisins and citrus.

From 0,355l bottle, BBD: 23.05.14 App: Pours nice dense semi clear orange amber liquid, medium frothy tan head. Aroma: Raisin, candied fruits, citrus, warming alcohol, fig, .... Taste: heavy sweet, heavy bitter, very long sweet finish. Citrus, raisin, caramel, resin notes. Very complex taste and aroma. Pal: full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, long pleasant sweet and bitter finish. Overall excellent double IPA, complex ale, makes dreaming you. Nectar of gods :)

Drank at wine 101 in wake forest. Good beer more like an IPA than a pale in my opinion.

I will admit I am a fan of flying dog for a slew of reasons. First, they don’t half ass any concoction. The names are great and Ralph Steadman provides diesel artwork for the labels. A six pack holder is nothing more than a blank canvas and should be treated as such. Now for the beer. The color is a light copper with little to no head. It stands tall at 11.5 percent by volume. Malts, raison, coffee and caramel are all swirling infusing themselves in the aroma. Ironically enough I unknowingly poured this one into a Flying Dog glass I was given by a Hunterdon Distributer driver, nice guy. The flavor is immense malts, and coffee mid to late palate. It does an adequate job of masking the alcohol flavor, though if not taken seriously the vicious ABV backbone of this beer will catch up to you. Overall a good beer, though I don’t think it is one of Flying Dogs best.

Limpida, giallo ambrata, con schiuma cremosa e persistente. Aroma di agrumi, caramello, malto, miele. Nel palato oleosa, si apre la strada con attacco maltato e caramellato, graffiato via da una luppolatura decisa.

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazed copper orange with a great off-white head that leaves cascades of lacing as it settles. Aroma is caramel malt and a powerful honey. Taste is more honey with a touch of pine and citrus hops. Backend is very boozy and bitter. A very dry and bitter finish. Aftertaste is bitter as well. A decent beer but too boozy and not enough balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flesje, amberkleurig en veel plakkerig crêmig schuim. Ruikt zoet, moutig en ook flink citrusfruithoppig. Bitterzoete, moutige , citrusfruitige, volle smaak. Goede nasmaak. Niet te koud drinken. Lekker bier, bovengemiddeld.

Doppio cane, doppio alcol, doppio luppolo! Birra massiva e davvero deliziosa, con un grado inverosimile ma ben mascherato da un gusto bilanciato e complesso che sposa malti dolci e caramellati con luppoli dall’amaro intenso, dispensatori generosi di note resinose.
