Double Dog Double Pale Ale Back by popular demand, our original "Wild Dog Release" is back, and this time it’s for good. Double Dog Double Pale Ale is a generously hopped ale with a deep red color and pours with a nice frothy head. The abundance of hops will conjure some provocative aromas with hints of raisins and citrus.

Good malty aroma. Off white head that disappears slowly. Very nice deep amber color. The taste is both hoppy and malty. But the alcohol strength is just a little bit too strong. Would have liked it better at about 9.5 abv. The conclusion is that it’s a good beer that I think would be better a bit less strong.

On tap. Pour is copper with a thin head. Aroma is heavy on the hops with notes of caramel, spice, orange peel, and pine needles. Flavor is bitter sweet - caramel, orange, burnt toast, grapefruit. Thick mouth-feel.

Yes, give me more hops! This is a very hoppy and malty beer, with some unexpected dark fruits as well. Very nice.

Very strong pale ale. High alcohol by volume. Very nice taste, not too strong with just a bit of bitter after taste.

Aroma is mainly raisins and liquor. The head is a bit disappointing. Medium-sized bubbles and only nominal white foam. The color is amber. The taste is a completely different story than the aroma. It’s very bitter with long finish. The bitterness is alcoholic and hoppy, nicely warming your esophagus. Hints of toffee. Great beer!

Butelka 0.3L. Piwo bursztynowo-miedziane, klarowne. A tu ogromna niespodzianka.

Draft at Winberie’s. Golden with heavy white head. Smell is pine, citrus, bread. Taste incorporates lemon, toffee, watermelon rind. Clean finish.

12oz bottle - rye-ish kind of nose. grapefruit, resin, and booze. Big body. Very bitter. Stings my chapped lips. Wife thanks this tastes like suntan lotion.

On tap. Amber-like body, with a nice everlasting light brown head. Nice hoppy aroma. Exceptional bittersweet and alcoholic flavour, that is downgraded because of a persistant heavy-bitter aftertaste. Almost full-bodied, average carbonation, oily and smooth texture. Would be a favourite, if it wasn’t for that extremely bitter aftertaste.

From a bottle. Hazy gold with frothy white head. Lots of citrus and pine resin hop aroma. This is balanced with some raisin and caramel sweetness, substantial alcohol presence on the back end, some bitterness on the finish... I can see why it did well in Beer madness last year... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
