Double Dog Double Pale Ale Back by popular demand, our original "Wild Dog Release" is back, and this time it’s for good. Double Dog Double Pale Ale is a generously hopped ale with a deep red color and pours with a nice frothy head. The abundance of hops will conjure some provocative aromas with hints of raisins and citrus.

A hazy amber beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet hoppy - like sticking your head into a hop plant. The flavor is sweet hoppy with notes of hop acids, caramel, leading to a powerful, sweet sticky and slightly dry end.

Red-amber color; creamy head. Fruiy hop aroma, and sugary sweet caramel. Strong moufeel, full bodied, with very strong toffee and caramel flavor, extreme hopping, oily, resiny, and a bit fruity. Very strong final, with some sweet toffee too, and warming alcohol. A cake double IPA. Very good.

2007-08-19, bottle, vintage 2007; 85 IBU, 8-5-8-4-16=41
Cloudy amber color; huge creamy head. Wonderful hoppy aroma, citrusy, with pine needles; then comes the malt and caramel sweetness. Very good toffee aroma, good balance between the sweet and the bitter, the hop brings in dry resins; at the end, the body gets thinner, the malt flavor vanishes. Very good.

Bottle. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich with hops and balanced with a nice sweetness. Even though it has a 10.5% abv, the alcohol is hardly noticable.
