Double Dog Double Pale Ale Back by popular demand, our original "Wild Dog Release" is back, and this time it’s for good. Double Dog Double Pale Ale is a generously hopped ale with a deep red color and pours with a nice frothy head. The abundance of hops will conjure some provocative aromas with hints of raisins and citrus.

Bottled/ Tapped. A true strong ale. Hops all day in a young/fresh sorta way, but sweet enough to keep you drinking. The alcohol is prevalent & numbs the tongue blissfully. Perfectly off-balance for hop lovers everywhere! Gets xtra "overall" points for being The best american strong ale available in SC period

This is a power house! I got through 4 of these last night and had to hang it up, then had 2 more today. It’s not fancy or glamorous, just really hardcore IPA. You should probably not buy this if you get hung up on specifics, because the buzz will hit you before you get to break it down. Great 2x IPA taste, high alcohol, and over all a great drinking experience!

Aromas of booze, caramel, pungent hop resin. Clear ruby with a mostly lasting off-white head. Sticky malt sweetness up front, boozy warmness, aggressive, bitter hops. Full bodied.

Bottle - hazy amber with slim white head. Rich aroma of caramel, malts, citrus hops, some dark fruits. Impressive taste of similar elements, full bodied, some alcohol warmth, but quite well hid. Nicely balanced, nice stuff.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste cover the amount of alcohol well. Licorice, candy, alcohol. Hops are covered by grains and alcohol except for the finish. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Crystal clear reddish amber with a dense one-finger head, solid retention and very nice lace. Sweet caramel malt aroma up front with grassy and floral hop accents poking through with a bit of booziness. Malt sweetness predominates the flavor profile, with the hops making barely a dent. Full body, moderate carbonation, oily mouthfeel and a lingering sweetness and alcohol burn in the finish.

12 oz bottle from Whole Foods @ $14.99/6. Into tumbler. Pours transparent, medium reddish-amber; off-white almost-frothy head turns to a thick ring; light to medium lacing. Big, pleasant aroma of candy sugar, deep red fruits, citrus, floral and fruity hops, caramel. vanilla. This could stand to age for a year or three, but very nice.

Bottle brought home from NYC, thanks to the in-laws. Clear Amber body with a large offwhite head. Caramel, resin, alcohol, hops. This is a hop-alcohol mess. Unbalanced.
