Bottle->Trappist: Pours a small, off-white head onto a murky brown body that seems to contain a good bit of particulates. Toasted caramel malt arema, overage hops that give off a medley of of flowers, some perfume, and citrus with a doughy aroma mixed in. There may also be a hint of butterscotch in the aroma as well. The beer, when consumed, is full, sticky, and softly carbonated, leaving an astringent and bitter aftertaste that is average (which, to me, is above average given the number of beers out there that just die post-sip), and is heavily bitter and acidic. Overall, I find this beer to have good character and a unique, pungent aroma.

Bottle at Nřrrebro Bryghus. Pours an unclear orange/amber colour with white head. Aroma and flavor is all about hops. Also present is fruit and malt. Completely dries aout your mouth and leaves your palate begging for fluids. Absoloutely lovely.

Bottle (35 cl) at Haket, Göteborg, Sweden. Shady mahogny with a large yellow/beige head. Malty and caramelly, with piney and citric hops, and clear note of alcohol (11.5 % abv according to the label). Well balanced. Would certainly gain from less alcohol content.

Nice creamy beige coloured head. A dark cobber brown colour with small particles. Suberb grapefruitty nose. Sweet malty taste at beginning. A very strong hoppiness. A real thirst maker :-). Quite strong alcohol content.

Smell is floral and resinous. Dark copper/amber pour with a luxuriously thick head, very nice. Wow, the flavor is very smooth all the way through for aa 10.5% beer. Nice malt backbone balanced by a high, but not over the top hoppiness. You can feel the alcohol presence in the mouthfeel, which is nice but not overpowering. Great beer.
