| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Bottle - 2009 vintage. Nose is grassy, earthy hop bitterness, a little touch of molasses and some dishsoap notes. Flavor is upfront caramel malts, a middle of grapefruit hop bitterness and a hot boozy finish that overtakes everything else and leaves an oily grain alcohol aftertaste. If not for the finish, this is decent. wineandbrew (40), Steilacoom, Washington, USA

IMP Pale? 11.5% yeah, you be the judge, I still have some bottles of 07’ in my cellar, it seems to thicken and strengthen with age but the hops always shows through, really this is a marvel of a beer! markas101 (562), Fargo, North Dakota, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Lightly hazy dark amber-caramel orange, off white foam, tight carbonation. Big floral and citrusy hop aroma with some spicy pine bite. Loads of fruit, caramel, sweet malt. Taste is sweet, fruity, then a wash of hops, citrus and pine, light alcohol thins the finish but overall this is a thick, slick almost oily beer.
