(bottle from Queens Liquor in Colorado Springs). Cloudy, dark copper/brown color. Medium off white head. Pine and grass hop aroma. Strong hop flavor with malty sweetness. Avg duration. Light alcohol finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

Nov 29, 2009 Pours cloudy brown with a small head. Aroma is a field of floral hops with a bit of caramel malt mixed in. Mouth feel is thick but has a good amount of carbonation. Flavor is yummy with flavor hops in the foreground and enough sweet malt to balance.

Nov 29, 2009 Very orange in appearance. Aroma is cloyingly swee, but alsovery bitter. Flavour is huge: sweet, citrusy and very, very bitter. Slight alcoholic on the palate. Very full-mouthed, leaves you slightly decimated. Awesome.

Nov 25, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma was full of hops, mainly a grapefruit notes, with an undertone of grain from the malt. Flavor was full of hops, first grape fruit and then pine.

Nov 24, 2009 Bottle - 2009 vintage. Nose is grassy, earthy hop bitterness, a little touch of molasses and some dishsoap notes. Flavor is upfront caramel malts, a middle of grapefruit hop bitterness and a hot boozy finish that overtakes everything else and leaves an oily grain alcohol aftertaste. If not for the finish, this is decent.

Nov 22, 2009 on tap @ Jakes Bar and Bistro Steilacoom, wow!@ very rare on tap it looks like, and Jake’s has it on tap! cool... big, man, big... IMP Pale? 11.5% yeah, you be the judge, I still have some bottles of 07’ in my cellar, it seems to thicken and strengthen with age but the hops always shows through, really this is a marvel of a beer!

Nov 20, 2009 33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Very hazy golden/amber colour. Heterogeneous still head. Warm orange and coriander aroma. Syrupy and smooth first sip, fluid pepper in the throat with warming alcohol tones.

Nov 17, 2009 Lightly hazy dark amber-caramel orange, off white foam, tight carbonation. Big floral and citrusy hop aroma with some spicy pine bite. Loads of fruit, caramel, sweet malt. Taste is sweet, fruity, then a wash of hops, citrus and pine, light alcohol thins the finish but overall this is a thick, slick almost oily beer.
