Light very caramell and hop oriented aroma just like the flavour. Easy to drink, creamy mouthfeel and a hoppy, roasty finish. Nice, drinkable but not very complex. rdyck (4), Eagan, Minnesota, USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 28, 2009 Pours black with a thin foamy head that dissipates quickly. Nice roasted malt flavors with some coffee/chocolate. A light biiter hop finish. A very good porter. hoppopotamus (182), Santa Cruz, California, USA

The aroma is at first sweet, then fruity, then spicy, and finally chocolate/coffee. The taste is dominated by roast malt, with an unmistakable hop bitterness, and alcohol heat. very deliciously chewy mouthfeel. A great beer! EHopper (274), Minnesota, USA

Seemed a bit thin, but easy drinking with just enough sweet carmel and roasted something to make it interesting. garthicus (1273), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Aroma: Wow, I can smell it from an arms length away: Roasted malt, cream, hoppy, coffee, almost baileys like with a lot more coffee... awesome. Flavour: So creamy, coffee, peat, chocolate, long peat/turf finish, just so simple yet satisfying. Hops fight through the finish. An incredible brew. jesperhammer (290), Copenhagen, Denmark

Dark brown with nice brown head.
Very complex aromas with coffee and chocolate (and more).
Taste is very good with more of the same.
Long aftertaste, and quite creamy.
I did not expect to much although this is really a good brewery. Very easy drinkable stout with some american taste in the form of hops, but just slightly.
