Bottle. Poured a very muddled black color, rather "thick" looking pour, almost like a watery molasses. An aroma of blackened malts, sweet sugar and smoked malts, kind of "off-putting". I had to let this beer warm up a little to enjoy al the wonderful flavors. A very thick sipper. Lots of super charged chocolate malts with hints of vanilla, peat, and a light hoppiness that blends well with all the malt. A very thick bodied beer.

12 oz single bottle from Applejack. Black appearance with a light brown head, lingering with sticky lacing. Roasty and malty with notes of sweet chocolate and light coffee. Medium to full body. A solid imperial porter, probably the best beer I’ve had from them.

From a bottle, black and opaque with tan head and light carbonation. Creamy texture with bitter chocolate and hops notes to the malty taste, leading to a brief nicely bitter finish.
