Poured a nice golden amber with a poofy head. Nice smooth sugary goodness without being overpowering. Good juice.

Pours a honey-golden color with a nice, tan head, though not dense. The nose is nice, malty and sour, with hints of caramel. the mouth feel is rich and smooth, not too heavy, and the taste is a fine balance between malt up front and a delicate, hoppy finish with just a hint of alcohol. The beer leaves a delicate lace in the glass. A fine brew, and I’m looking forward to the other five in the fridge!

Great beer. Very dark amber with decent head. Nice malty taste with a hint of carmal and citrus. Good alcohol finish. A great beer.

I opened this one after a long day of work, and it was worth it. The aroma is uninspiring, the taste of carmal and alcohol blend perfect together. cant wait to try more.

Color was like waterwith a handful of rusted nails in it. Sweetness in the aroma some maltiness and a little raisin bread. Taste is off-putting. The fore taste is pretty nice. Sweet and rum-raisiny and then it just gets watery and stale in the aftertatse. Like a book that starts good and ends bad you hate it more than just a mediocre movie. This needs MUCH more kick in the aftertaste to be a good beer.

Poured a golden color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of bread, caramel, and light alcohol. Taste of toasted dough, caramel, light citrus malts, and a touch of alcohol in the finish.

Bottle, 2005 version. Clear gold/orange color with small white head. Aroma is bready/buiscity with some hops . A little fruity for a lager. The taste is pretty clean, some malt background and fruity. Aftertaste is malty and bitter. Not a bad beer, nit what I would call a Mai-bock though.
