SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA Feb 17, 2008 Sampled at the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild 2008 Strong Beer Fest, on February 17, at the Mesa Amphitheatre. AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Feb 8, 2008 Clear light amber with a fleeting head. A malty bready smell is faintly sweet. Med bodied with a smooth texture. A mild, but nice nutty malty flavor here with a mildly bitter finish. Not a bad beer, but weak for a bock. 62406 StFun (535), Indiana, USA Feb 3, 2008 Pours an orangish color. Watery, with diluted hops and citrus flavor. Not very interesting. Emphasis seemed to be on the hops, which goes against what a Bock should be. Seems more like a weak IPA. Pass on this one. AR (417), Georgia, USA Feb 1, 2008 Amber color. Not much special but it is an OK beer. A sweet flavor of mild yeast and hops. mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 12, 2008 [988-20071215] 355mL (c/o DuctTape, w/ him, jerc). Doughy yeast aroma seems kind of mouldy. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Mild grains and hops and a hint of grass in the flavour. Medium body is watery. Uninteresting. beerbill (1917), Laurel, New York, USA Jan 8, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a thin, dense off-white head that lasted until about midway and lightly coated the glass. Sort of a strange aroma for a bock with only a hint of malt detected with some grassy hops. The flavor is similar with only a little bit of malt along with some grassy hops. Weak finish with a watery mouthfeel. Disappointing. cstuartj (305), Washington, USA Jan 4, 2008 Bottle, pours dark orange with a small off white head. Attack is weak but non-offensive, finishes nice with malts and a pleasing bitterness. jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 19, 2007 Bottle. Orangey yellow body with a small white head. Odd fruity grainy aroma. Watery flavour, dilute fruity washed out grains. Average to thin palate. Pretty disappointing.
