Crazy bottle as usual. It hurts my soul. Very little hops. Minimal head. It does have a thick feeling in the mouth. Not a great beer, but nevertheless its ok. It is a different flavor. Odd. Random.

Bottle: Pours a light amber color with small white head. Aroma of light malt, caramel and hay/grass. Interesting flavor that threw me off for a second. I’m not real sure how to describe it other than sweet and malty. Their is something that I can’t quite place though. Has a slightly bitter floral hop note throughout. Pretty good.

Had this beer on 5/13/2004. Aroma is a rich sweet malty scent. Color is a deep clear gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is mildly malty. Starting with medium body it goes down with smooth feel and a malty flavor coming on. Finish comes in with a mild malt flavor and a smooth hop bitterness, this is backed by a very light spiciness. It seems to hit what they wanted it to be. This is a spring beer, but they call it an anti-spring and what better way to brew this then a light Bock. It’s a refreshing, bold and smooth beer that has the feel of spring.

12oz bottle-A golden body with a small white head and an aroma of malt, hops, and fruity pepples. Taste of malt, hops, sweetness, and a dry bitter finish. Not a bad beer but just not my style.

(Rating #1185)

bottle - Pours clear golden with a one finger, lingering head. The aroma is malts and some light citrus and yeast notes. The flavor is quite sweet as one would expect from a bock. I’m tasting a touch of alcohol. It’s a little watery and the hops show up just a bit in the finish. Not bad at all, but there are better bocks to be had.
edit: oops, that was rating #900 and I wasn’t even paying attention.
