Commercial Description:
Heller Hound Bock is a crisp and malty Maibock, brewed with a special combination of Vienna and Munich malts. With a rich mouth feel and a subtle hop finish this is the perfect brew for toasting the sun's return.

Really awful watery, sweet, bland, no-flavor macro brew taste. Mercifully little finish/aftertaste. It help this pathetic brew that I tried Paulander salvator double bock recently because there is a vast difference in quality.

Pours a three finger white head that fades quickly to a ring leaving some lace. Clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Bready nose. Starts balanced but some maltiness, then hops, expecting more sweetness. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. $1.49 for a 12oz bottle from Chalet Party Goshen, In.

12 oz brown bottle that says ’anti-spring’ on it. Pours a little darker than your typical pale yellow american beer. This is not cloudy but there are little dust particles floating in the otherwise transparent brew. Has an almost perfumy aroma. Not a whole lotta bubbles in there. Crisp and malty on the outset of flavor. Tastes like an IPA with out the sever biting bitterness if that is possible. Carbonation is below average but not quite flat. Finish consummates with a loitering tenuous anti-mellow linger. Not as good as Nova Paka.

Slightly hazy amber body with a small creamy tan head. Sweet malty aroma. Malty flavor with a caramel edge and some mild bittering.

deep amber, slightly viscous look and mouthfeel. Enjoyable, malty and drinkable. Well balanced and and satisfying throughout. Great artwork on this one.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear amber color with a decent amount of white head. Aroma is very malty with some caramel and toffee. Kind of light thought. Flavor is very malty and bitter with some chocolate and caramel malts at the beginning, a smooth and sweet malt middle and a very malty and dry finish. Aftertaste is bitter and lingering.

12 oz bottle into a Shaker glass. Pours a clear yellow blonde color with a smaller whitish head. Aroma mainly has a toffee candy hint to it with heavy malt intertwined. The flavor starts with the thick sweet malt flavor then brings a tiny rush of hops amidst a yeasty malt coating to the palate. Ends on a fairly sweet, but also mildly bitter note. Okay...nothing special. Very malty!!
