Big malty flavors, including licorice and chocolate, are balanced with a moderate hop profile. Brewed with copious amounts of prized malts and flaked oats, the Barley Wine is so strong that it has to be aged for several months before we can bottle it. Like a fine wine, it will continue to improve with age up to 2 years after bottling (If kept cool).

Bottle 355ml. Poured hazy dark burnt bronze with a small, frothy, tanned head which was fully diminishing. A complex and rich aroma with fruitcake dunked in brandy, caramelized dates, figs, sultana’s, dried apricots, dark chocolate and allspice. Flavor was quite smooth with a mild bitterness, sticky toffee malts, dried mixed fruits, dark chocolate, caramelized dates, currents, muscatels, pepper, allspice and light notes of powdered ginger. Noticeable alcohol content. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation, a syrupy texture and a great length finish.

Mild sweet aromas, alcohol fumes. Cloudy copper color with no head. Sweet & sour initial, honeyish mid palate, and a sweet final that fades very quickly. Medium body. An unimpressive barleywine

12 ounce bottle. Cloudy mahogany brown color. Rich, sweet toasted malt aroma hints at black cherries and alcohol. More sweet toasted malt flavor with complex dried fruit and boozy notes. Slightly cloying with a sweet sherry like character and a touch of honey. Warming alcohol presence with every sip. Cloyingly sweet malt finish with some spicy hops.

Piwo przeterminowane dwa miesi?ce. Piana drobna, szybko znika, pozostaje obr?czka. W aromacie suszone owoce. W smaku karmelek. Piwo dobre warte sprobowania.

Bottle. Dark amber, copper. Aroma is boozy malt. The taste adds toast, dark fruit, toffee, sweet sugar, and bitterness. Rich feel with a warm, sweet finish. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bière épaisse au goût complexe ( Cerise confite caramélisée au beurre salée ... ?? ) Pas mal, mais en même temps, cela reste beaucoup trop sucré ! A revoir/reboir

Dark brown reddish with small head. Not too overly sweet like a barley wine can be. Candy sugar and caramel, medium carbonation.
