The head is ok, the body golden, it smells creamy, hoppy, a bit fruity, flowery. The taste is hoppy, creamy, hoppy-flowery, intensive, a bit fruity. The aftertaste is fruity-bitter. Good 12/12/11/12/-/12

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with moderate white head. Aroma of bitter orange zest, sweet caramel malt, and candied apricot. Taste is orange zest, candied apricot, grapefruit, sweet caramel, with some copper hops. I really enjoyed this beer more and more as it warmed up.

Pours a medium amber, with a white head.
Off-dry, full bodied, high bitterness, balanced CO2.
Very hoppy, resinous taste, apricot, peach, grapefruit peel, passion fruit, malt, marzipan. Very taste, but feels a bit like an overhopped, leaner Barley Wine. Very nice anyhow. (2013-01-26)

Pours a rich gold with slight haze. Loose carbonation with a strong orange pine flavor. Tastes of sweet toasted cereal malts and tangerine/orange back notes. The bitter is long lasting and masks the alcohol.

Bottle: Pale amber, faint haze, moderate frothy white head, fairly clingy lacing. Somewhat of a candied citrus peel nose, otherwise a bit pithy. Boozy up front, pithy, some alcohol infused candied citrus peel as well. This is a salivator! Makes yer mouth water after each sip. Bitter, and certianly a little biting too. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. A bit astringent on the finish. Its a rough IIPA thats for sure, but not out of the realm of enjoyable.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Big grapefruity citrus, pine, light sweet malts, and a hint of booze. Medium bitterness with a long lingering finish. Nice.

Borefts warm up at Bier Temple, Amsterdam. Light haze on this amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth. Smooth malts, rich malt cream. Mild aniseed alcohol Deep rich hops. Bitter marmalade hand in hand with with rich malt cream. Smooth finish. mildly bitter aftertaste.

This one poured a lighter orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of candy sugar, bittering hops, earth notes, and alcohol. Flavor was tons of alcoholc and candy sweetness, followed by extreme bitterness with hardly any hop flavor, just bad all around.

One bad ass ipa. If it has a down side it the aroma witch is great just a little lite. Amber in color with a white head small to medium in size. A ton of flavor and hops but not to bitter. Starts out a little sweat with a lot of hops and spruce and citrus. At 10% abv 2 will get you fired up.

Cask. Pours hazy orange with a small, fizzy white head, no lacing. Aroma is fruity, resin, and pine hops with biscuit malt and tropical fruity esters. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness with supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.
