Bottle. Best by date on the side: 08/22/13. A slightly hazy amber pour with a thick and creamy beige head. Pine, juicy oranges, grapefruits, zesty citrus rinds, caramel, and some vanilla in the aroma. Goes down full-bodied, thick, and syrupy. The taste starts with an ample amount of caramel and some butterscotch. Sweet cereal grains in the middle along with a hint of vanilla. Lots of zesty citrus rinds and bitter grapefruits at the end. Grassy. Resiny. A good deal of warmth throughout. A couple months in my fridge hasnít done any harm to this tasty brew.

Keg at Stormbird- 17th August 2013. Slightly hazy orange colour. Not much head but some light lacing. Clearly I've drunk too many UK new world hop IPAs because this is so overloaded with crystal malt I can't detect the citra. And I've drunk a LOT of single hop citra beers. The booze is quite well hidden. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slightly hazy orange. Amazing nose - perfect for an IPA. Citrus, floral and pine...and perhaps a touch of passionfruit. Taste of citrus, caramel, and bitter hops. There is a quick burst of alcohol on the finish. Excellent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of the best IPAís Iíve ever had the chance to try from this hops variety. Very nice long finish with beautiful tastes of citra throughout. Iím happy to say I was able to share this one amongst my closest of friends. I hope they can make this more regularly but only time will tell. Cheers!

My first perfect rated beer. Citra, citra, citra hops. This bitter, tropical, citrusy hops overpowers majority of malt presence, and the alcohol. Especially on the long citrus finish. Forget even pliney... I think this will join my top 3... And I donít even like flying dog brews in general !! Cheers-

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was strong pine and resin. The flavor was sweet and tangy pine, resin, a bit of catbox and had a sour off presence. Medium length tangy pine, resin and catbox finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.
