12 oz bottle shared by EZAnt, thanks Anthony. Poured a great looking clear bronze body under a foamy off white foamy average sized white head. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus rinds along with some yellow grapefruit meat and then once the warmth sets in BAM alcohol. Medium body with average carbonation and loads of detectable alcohol heat. Flavor is simply loaded with alcohol followed up with some citrus notes. This was just way to boozy.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 LtDan (1676) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Appearance: Pours amber orange with a thin cap of white cream.
Aroma: Grapefruit, tangerine, floral hop nose. Spicy and sweet malt and some apparent alcohol.
Taste: A huge mouthful of bitter hops, some tropical flavors mixed with modestly sweet malt. Has a fruity piny finish.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, juicy. Mild carbonation.
Overall: A very nice showcase of Simcoe as not only the aroma hop that I love, but the bittering hop as well. Reminded me of a PNW IPA.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Dogbrick (6058) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 15, 2011
This brew is a hazy orange-gold color with a medium creamy white head that dissipates slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops and grainy malt. Medium body with flavors of hops, pine and citrus. The finish is resiny hops with a lingering bitterness left over. Above average overall.

Big citrusy hop flavors, strong grass, meadow and melony notes with a fainly sweet malt backing. Light metallic and some burnt wire notes as well.Pleasently unbalanced. 10% abv is well placed. Dry, bracing finish. Bottle procured @statelineliquors. Thanks Roberrrrrrrrt!

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2011 Snifter on draught. Nose was all bitter hops with some citrus. The beer poured a nice dark gold with a white head. Taste was a very nice balance of malt and hops for a delicious finish with a sweet backbone and a nice bitter hop floral finish. Simcoe hops are not overpowering, so they really make this a nice beer. There is a kick from the ABV, but well hidden. Overall, a nice brew with some great flavors. Among the best from this brewery.

Bottle given to me by Beerbelcher and shared with friends. Clear gold pour with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt, spicy hops and grass. Malty sweetness on the tongue first, then spicy and grassy hops to the finish. A little more toned down than what I expected, but not bad overall.

Very light and drinkable. 10 percent huh? well hidden. Overall a very enoyable IPA... I wish i could pick up a sixer, I think this only comes in a mix-pack
