3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy orange. Has a fruity hop aroma with some spices. It starts with a light taste that quickly turns to fruity and cirtusy hops. Has a lingering bitter flavor.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I like clear, nearly golden IPAs which this, at first, looked like one, the Saison yeast gives it an odd but interesting "rustic" flavor. The aroma was good and citrus. The flavor was slightly malty and balanced, but was almost very bitter.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy yellow with lots of sharp carbonation. The aroma has a lot of spicy phenols, with some faint citrusy hops. The flavor is more of the same, finishing dry.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small head, hazy yellow colour, lively carbonation. Nose with citrus fruits, hops and plain freshness, as is the taste which also has a good amount of bitterness to it. Finally a nice IPA from the Flying Dog brewery.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home, shared with Mathieu87. Bought at Geers.
APPEARANCE: clear golden beer, somewhat clouded, large stable white head. Soapy foam.
NOSE: fruity, bitter, very fresh IPA-like nose, citrus.
TASTE: fruity, slight bitter aftertaste, nice balance, but for me a little too dry, but very decent beer!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from South Bay Liquor: Another hybrid beer on the market—interesting. Created a thick fluffy topping of white head while glowing blonde ale rested below. Aroma is spicy with authentic farmhouse yeast and also has a fruity aroma of floral hops that makes this much more appetizing than most of the other saison styles I come across and drink. The flavor is strong with a funky, tart, and sour strain of yeast that is a little over bearing for my taste buds and palate. Definitely taste more like a traditional Belgian farmhouse ale than it does an IPA, however, there is a slight notice of bitter hops that resemble unripe/dried fruit. Finish reminds me of a perfume or cologne.
