Draft. Poured a hazy yellow color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrushop, herbs and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

Pours like a typical unfiltered farmhouse but with a hoppy nose. Tastes more like a watered down saison. Finish is quite tart. Regretting getting a sixer.

Appearance: hazy, lemony gold with a creamy white head. Aroma: lots of yeast, citrus, spice, and funk. Taste: yeasty, with notes of lemon, banana, ginger, rice, grapefruit, and pepper, with a dose of funk and citrussy, earthy hops. Finish: creamy, slightly bitter, with a lingering semi-sweet yeasty funk. Notes: Tastes like a Belgian IPA mixed with a saison, which is clearly the intention, so on that count it was a solid hit. Overall, a better than average beer, but not one I would drink for an everyday traditional saison.

A tall white tower full of irregular bubbles lays above the cloudy gold. Strongly estery nose immediately heads toward pear candy and banana bread territory, adding a sugary impression to this ale that is not very sweet at all in fact. Surprisingly bubblegummy and spicy, it feels more like a hefeweizen yeast than a saison strain, yet the large bubbles, rather high attenuation and airy palate would belong to a farmhouse ale. There is plenty of alcohol though and the cerealic malts show little character, the bubbles lifting the malts into an absent-minded state. In mouth, while the high-temperature yeast still deploys its flavours, flowery and citrusy hops grow quite a punch. The high carbonation seems to mitigate the bitterness intensity, but does not hinder the aromas which could feel fresher, but are efficiently fruity and engaging. It is a pleasant recipe, but the alcohol character seems a bit exagerated for my liking and I’d also appreciate a subtler yeast strain, because the bubblegum/perfume/candy-like notes feel out of place with the explosive hops.

Pours a hazy yellow blonde color with a huge pillow head that jumps out of the glass and laces out nicely. Aromas are fruity Belgian yeast, light malts and touches of citrusy hop notes. On the palate this beer follows the nose nicely with bright flavors of citrus, grapefruit, pepper spice and some earthy goodness on the dry finish.
