UPDATED: NOV 16, 2012 Bottled from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Dark golden colored, medium lasting white head. Amazing hoppy nose, fresh hops, grain, i would almost say: horseblanket. Bitter flavor, somewhat dry, grain again, little bit of sweetness, more sour towards the end. Lasting very dry finish with a hint of sourness. I?m not sure if i would classify this as a saison, it seems more like an IPA with saison features. Nevertheless, this is a very nice brew.

Wildeman has more of a funky Belgian Farmhouse flavor profile, with ample Belgian yeast notes and a pronounced sourness to it with milder hops to round it out. It’s kind of like a light Belgian Sour Ale blended with an IPA, so if you’re a fan of both styles then this beer would be something worth tasting.
