Dry and refreshing, not sure how that works, but it does. Good with a summer risotto

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy yellow-golden color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was funky citrus, catbox, lemon, chalk and an off tart undertone. The flavor was funky, dry and musty with some horseblanket, tart citrus and chalk. The finish was very long, dry and musty with funk and horseblanket lingering. Medium body. Odd.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
People werenít kidding about the foam on this beer I poured a little past the label and the glass is about to over flow with white foam. Slow to dissipate, appears in large bubbles on the side of the glass. Smells strongly of spices, cloves, and Belgian yeast. Cloudy, light yellow/orange appearance. The yeast is particularly strong in the taste. The spices and cloves are pretty light and balanced by the hops. Taste of orange peel is prominent throughout the experience. Finishes bitter and dry, eliminating the first taste that hit your palate. Interesting brew with a lot of complexity, Iím sure others may taste some different elements. Not exactly my style but Iím still drinking it trying to figure it all out which Iím digging.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
(bottle) Pours a hazy and dirty light yellow color with a massive white head that takes awhile to settle and leaves a sheet of lacing. Aroma initially smells like Spaghetti-oís, light Feta funk, and cracked pepper. Utterly odd. Further scents of dried apricots, orange zest, and bread dough bring things back to normalcy, although Chef Boyardee continually flits into scene. The flavor begins with a strong pale malt sweetness that yields to orange marmalade and apricot preserves. Mid palate contains some crackery quality which is accompanied by spice. The finish gets to be a bit much with the bitterness, as the hops come off as being really soapy, and that flavor lingers for far too long. Moutfheel is medium and carbonation is lively. This is a pretty unpleasant beer all around.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay toooooooooooooo muuuuuuuch foamy head! Out of control! Took a few minutes to dissipate so I could even finish pouring the rest of the bottle in! Points off for not allowing me to drink my beer right away! Murky, pond-water like clarity; kinda ech. Aroma is very Belgiany funky, dead on for a strong saison. Reminds me of funky cheese. Mouthfeel is pretty light and very drinkable. Taste is quite powerful. Lots of lemon, horseblanket funk, hops, some pepper and bubblegum. I really like this one. Alcohol is completely hidden. Not for the faint of heart.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pint at Tylers Apex. Sweet, citrusy, lemon and grapefruit. Yeast, coriander. Clean golden orange color, Bittersweet flavor. Medium body, creamy smooth mouthfeel, bitterdry finish. Ok aroma strong, but not pleasant, fairly bitter, guess I donít like yeast hop mix.

Bottle: pours hazy golden, big, frothy off white head. Stays fluffy throughout. Nose is lemon, coriander, yeast, bread malts, rye, graham cracker, funk. On the palate, floral, citrus hops, sour yeast, bread malts. Faint tartness and dry, fluffy, lighter mouthfeel with a longer finish. Pretty solid.
