Brewed for Bierproeflokaal In de Wildeman’s 25th Anniversary. This brand new brew is an unfiltered American IPA hopped with Citra and fermented with Saison yeast.

Bottle. Orange amber with big, frothy, sudsy, small bubbled white head. Nose is grapefruit up front, lemon, dry chard, a little soapy. Okay flavor, a little conflicted, but not too extreme in any one flavor profile which is a good thing. Definitely nothing close to a saison, though. Well maybe an American one. and what country am i in? sorry i forget sometimes.

Draught. Like someone has mentioned, this is indeed more of a double saison with xtra hops. Delicious.

Patrickctenchi (3401) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Pours yellow with a huge, slightly off-white head...a loooong lasting head.... Scent is spicy...cloves,banana. Flavour is unexpected bitter with spice and fruity/hoppiness....dry. A surprising and different offering...nose says saison, mouth says IPA.... Rather good.

White pepper+clove on the nose. Hazy pale amber, fluffy white head. Very bitter, lots of spicy yeast flavours.

This tastes more like a double saison with some extra hop kick, rather than an IPA, which is good since I prefer saisons

12oz bottle pours a bright yellow color with a big frothy creamy thick white head that last for awhile and leaves spider webs all over the glass. the aroma is of saison and hops and brett and funk and hops again. the flavor is quite complex because it taste more like a triple with that banana touch and nose and the hops are mostly hidden except for in the middle you can grab their flavor. kind of liked this one but one or two at a time.

Bottle: Almost clear, honeyish golden coloured, mid-sized loose but stable off-white head, sweet bisquity nose with herbal hops and spicy-yeasty undertones; moderate spicy bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; lingering dryish fruity and hoppy-bitter finish. A fruity-hoppy finish…

0.355l bottle. Nice orange body with a thin white head. Yeasty, honey-like aroma with some flowery, grassy hops. Lots of yeast in the taste with dry hoppy flavor.

Poured from 12 ounce bottle. Pours a beautiful hazy golden color with a mysterious, ghostly darker haze swirling through it. Three finger cream head quickly settles to a thin film with excellent lacing. Aroma of yeast, spice, coriander, floral and citric hops, tropical fruit and sweet malt. Taste is complicated. I pick up yeast, yeast, floral and citric hops, coriander, sweet malt, wheat, pepper, cinnamon, sour apple, and banana. Fairly bitter, but well balanced with different flavors rotating through the palate. The flavor gets even more complex as the beer warms. Medium/full body and carbonation with a very pleasant spritzy foamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
