3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. 8/5/13. Pours a gold-amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is funk, sour, citrus hops, bread, Belgian yeast, floral. Taste is funky (less funky than the aroma), citrus, lemon peel, Belgian yeast. Nice lacing. Chewy mouth feel. Medium carbonation. Not bad; I would have liked a bit more funk and sour. Also a little higher ABV. But definitely drinkable and enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear medium amber with a long-lasting head and filaments of lace. Nice caramel malt with traces of citrus and bread. On top of this, hop bittering jumps in and mixes things up. Both sides march smartly to a long finish. Quite well conceived, quite enjoyable, worth a repeat. Recommended.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden blonde, dense white head, good lacing. Fresh and fruity aroma, with hops. Fair hop taste and aroma. Not that much bitterness. May be a bit more full bodied. Saison yeast doesn’t add anyhting extra (like stallion aroma)

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Heavy tasting pale ale, although the initial taste is good its strength soon becomes apparent and this beer needs to be supped slowly. It has a fine aroma and is slightly cloudy in appearance with a pale-golden appearance and a small bubbly head. Fizzes a little in the palate.
