Good looking head. Little bit unclear orange colour, possibly unfiltered. Smells strongly to hops. Bitter taste with aroma of ground, somewhat on sour side. Quite dry. I think this is pretty good beer, but not very easy to open. The cork in bottle was a struggle and came off in three pieces. Don’t take this beer to a place without cork screw.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Hazy golden with a rocky head. Strong grassy and citrussy hop nose. Delicious and fresh hop bitterness. Refreshing and potent, worthy the wild man!

Head pump->honker: pours a white frothy head that exhibits good lacing atop a hazy, yellow body. Aroma of hay, wheat, and even fresh cut wild field growth. Medium bodied, mildy bitter, smooth, clear mouthfeel. A real treat on the palate and a definite jump off the beaten path.

On tap at De Wildeman. Hazy amber beer, good white head. Light palate, slightly soft but has some pirckly carbonation. Alka Seltzer minerals with subtle banana and bubblegum. Peachy hops morph in to bitter marmalade with a trace of lychee. Unusual beer and very tasty.

Countbeer (4647) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2011
Cask: Small white airy head on top of a light hazy light yellow colored beer. Smell is a very fresh mix of hops, citrus, mango, (yellow) fruit juice, sweets. Taste is a very lovely mix of hops, flowers, sweets, bitter, fruit, citrus, mango. Taste almost as it smells! Lovely bitter aftertaste. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium to full body and a light creamy texture. Lovely beer!

Bottle shared by Hoprider - Thanks! Aroma is really nice with lots of citra hops with citrus, pineapple, mango, nice sweet saison yeast, banana. The citra hops play very well with the fruity saison yeast in the taste, nice hoppy bitterness, pineapple, flowers, banana, nice balance, bitterness is present, but not overwhelming. Really nice American saison.

On tap at Churchkey - Washington, DC. Awesome, super-pungent floral hoppy aroma, with lots of fruit. Giant resin, pine, citrus and floral aroma. Dank with hops. Above average sweetness is immediately noticeable, which I find unacceptable for both a Saison and for an IPA, unless immediately balanced by biting hop bitterness, but perhaps the blending loses that bitterness, so it stays sweet. I lose the Saison character in this blend and find the result uninteresting.

This beer has a very beautiful smell. A mix of wild flowers, fermented fruit and marzipan. Doesn’t look very special though. A foamy head reminiscent of too much dishcleaner. The head also collapses really fast. It has a pretty standard transparent honey colour that doesn’t tell you much. The taste is strong, hoppy and well defined. The palate is what really makes this beer lift off. It remains on your tastebuds with a peppery hoppy taste that has added notes of something that reminds me of beeswax. It would get 5 on the palate rating from me if i didn’t find it a bit too intense and overbearing. Could be more subtle.
