UPDATED: NOV 4, 2012 Was seeing this everywhere on release so just had to try it. Bottle poured into sniffer, dark reddish-golden color with decent lasting white head. Complex aroma of citrus, yeast and spice. Taste was bitter, dry, some sweetness and grain with a dry finish. Interesting brew, would have it again.

Pours clear orange with very foamy bleached head, some lacing. Aroma of hay and citrus, some sour mash-like malt. Average carbonation, texture a little fizzy. Finishes bitter and sour. Bottle.

Definitely a unique offering with mixed reviews by many others. But keep an open mind. Do not fear the unknown. Go forward boldy into the future beer drinker extraordinairre! Try this beer. Keep an open mind. This beer will grow on you. Peppery grapefruit aroma with a long bitter finish. Flavorful but not for the fainthearted! For the serious, this beer will not disappoint.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow, with a creamy finger thick head. Aroma is yeasty, with some funkiness, barnyard and straw, as well as a sweet almost weissbier-like fruitiness and tropical hops with apricot and orange peel. Full creamy body with normal carbonation. Flavour is funky bitter with orange peel and grapefruit, giving a long bitter finish.

Bottle pour, a light orange, almost like a "dark" lager. Very strong orange aroma, almost akin to Weihenstaphener with a wedge in it. Definitely not like an IPA, but light and summery. Taste is interesting, still more like a hefeweizen than an IPA, but stronger. Interesting.

smells really funky like a good farmhouse ale should, spices galore! Looks great too, big white uneven bubbled head dissipating slowly and unevenly. Oh man this stuff is wild! Carbonation keeps things moving along nicely. Honey, coriander, white pepper. This stuff is delicious! I have just a few in It’s league to compare it to, and It’s more than holding It’s own! Don’t miss this stuff.

330ml Bottle 2013/5/15 Not very enjoyable as either a Saison or an IPA. Probably a good idea if these styles don’t meet again.

Aroma is on spot of the name. Smells like a saison with with hop background. Nice citrus and spicy notes. Strong pepper and bitter flavor. Very spicy. A little too much of a bitter finish for me. Citrus flavors are hidden by other drier flavors. This one is a little off for me. Flavors don’t blend nicely like the aroma does.

Tastes like cough syrup with a kick. Great nose but disappointing taste. Not bad with cheese or spicy foods.
