COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Hazy yellow, medium frothy white head. Aroma is as expected; banana, clove, spices, wheat. Light to medium body, some spice and sweetness initially. Sort of dry and bitter finish. o.k.

Hazy golden yellow with lasting white foam head, lacing. Aroma is bit weak, wheat and citrus. Taste starts off wear, turning into more citrus taste over time. (Velp 201305) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft, pleasant surprise on this brew. Very reluctant to try, simply because these brews from Flying Dog are weak. Nicely done hefe, sweet taste, banana, light body, pepper, spices, fruity flavors (where the strong sweetness is coming). creamy, lively co2. Good brew for this style.

Sampled at A6p. Decent hefe. A bit too sweet for my tastes. Could be improved in taste and palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours gold with a thin white head. Aromas of sweet banana and wheat. For as sweet as the nose it tastes bitter. It’s okay.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2013 Solid hefeweizen, one of the better american representations I have had. Nice sticky flavors. Good banana and clove. Suprised this isnt rated higher. Had this back to back with sierra nevada and this almost as good.

Bottle at home. Pour is crystal clear straw in appearance with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Wheaty, grainy, slightly spicy aroma - light pears, a touch of citrus, cereal, and biscuit. Taste is banana, orange peel, light citrus, heavy wheat - wish there were some more clove in there - straw, somewhat grassy, a touch of spice, and bread with a crisp, dry finish. Medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. Decent Hefe and damn refreshing, but didn’t really excite me much.

Pours a hazy dark yellow. Great aromas of banana cream pie and cloves. Nice sweet flavours with a hoppy finish. I thought this was a really nice hefeweizen.
