COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Huge fruity nose, almost like a Dijon clone Chard. A litte too carbinated for me, nice yeasty flavor with good fruity/banana tone. Drinks like a sparkling wine.

Cloudy and light-hued. A notable lack of sustained head is a disappointment. Rather enjoyable aroma of bananas and cream, lightly floral. Undistinguished malt, with an odd, lemony sourness. Lacking in complexity, but actually better than I expected it would be.

Had a few bottles of this while watching the OSU PSU game. Nose of banana, toasted cereal, perfume, and bubblegum. Pours a light sparkling golden honey. Fluffy average white head that dissipates quickly into a thin strip that is mostly lasting and has no lacing. Balanced grainy flavor that starts mildly sour with a fruity bitter/sour finish. Thin and dry with heavy carbonation and a dry feel to the finish.

Lat me preface this by saying I hate wheat beers. However of the few I have tried, this was one of the better ones, if it’s any consolation.

Hazy straw gold hue. Head dissipates immediately. Citrus, malt nose. Slightly sweet first, light bodied, nice carbonation, then it gets sort of rancid, bananas and sourness. Nothing special, there are much better wheat beers out there.

Color is great. Pours a somewhat milky gold, with a thick white froth. The taste, while nothing wrong, lacks any special character to set it apart from the hundreds of other wheat beers out there. drinkable and thirst quenching, but I don’t see myself in a frenzied rush to get some more.

Oakes (10196) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 11, 2002
Very pale beige, opaque; very wheaty palate, lots of grapefruit, low phenols for the style; light body, sour, grapefruity finish. Different, and may not be to everyone’s taste, but I enjoyed its simple, citric, thirst-quenching properties.

Cloudy light orange color. Tropical fruit- pineapple, in the nose. Spritzy, some citrus, fruity and dry.

orange, hazy, yeasty, and somewhat malty, it tastes like a typical American Wheat, wheats like these are really not to my liking.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2008 Bottle 355ml
Appearance: Cloudy gold with hint of orange , medium creamy top.
Nose : Neat , rich , “full wheat” aroma , sweet grainy feel with element of dough and banana.8-
Flavor/Palate : Soft , wheat ale with smooth silky , slightly sour fruity feel. A bit flat as it goes yet overall decent wheat ale.
